Our hostel, situated on the number one shopping street Adelsgatan in the Hanseatic parts of Visby offers nice accommodation in rooms with 2-4 beds. Everything that Visby has to offer is just a short walk away when staying with us! The hostel offers six rooms, all with access to common showers, toilets and kitchen (with dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave oven and terrace with garden furniture). The hostel is situated on the first floor in a business building. No elevator, boutique on ground floor. The hostel has a history dating back to the late 19th century. "Jernvag" means railroad in swedish and this was the place where travelers from different parts of Gotland stayed when the train stopped in Visby. The hostel has a 18-year limit, identity verification is done on all accommodation at check-in, people ages 18-24 will pay a deposit refunded at checkout if no mishaps caused during the stay. The hostel will require that all guests keep good order and that a pleasant and peaceful environment is maintained.

Reviewed By danielec138For what you pay you get a lot of comfort, the possibility to cook your own food and your are near to everything. I had a great staying and the personell is professional. The vegan friendly breakfast is totally worth the extra 130kr.

STF Visby/Rävhagen hostel is comfortably located in a forrest glade in the eastern outskirts of Visby, 2 km away from the world heritage center. For those without car, we have rental bikes. Rävhagen has accommodation for all needs – comfortable hostel rooms with shower and WC, family cottages with 4 beds and possibilities for group conference. We have in total 130 beds and can accommodate large groups.
Nice cabin in the woods
Reviewed By Stefano SThe price is quite convenient, especially if you are 3-4 people. The cabin has everything you need, including a small kitchen and a small bathroom. The cabin is inside the woods and you have a table to have breakfast outdoor. It's just 5 minutes by car from the centre of Visby. The surroundings are full of moths, which will get inside as soon as you open the door...

Reviewed By PelleB7A great smell of urine greeted us when opening the door! Old blanket and pillows that never before been washed was supposed to be where we spent our evening and a view that reminded more of Chernobyl than any of the photos the owners had put on the web. We stayed for approx. 5 minutes and then chose to leave this place for any other accommodation possible. People who have chosen to give STF Bunge Hostel five plus must either be the owner themselves or just left prison. We will never again see the SEK 940 that the room cost, but would have happily paid double to avoid having to seen this place at all.

Simple living in lovely environment
Reviewed By ArcomanRustic room with basic facilities. Toilets and showers in separate buildings. Everything is spotlessly clean. The hostel is located in a beautiful setting and part of an active farm business rich in history, which the owners are happy to share. Today, there are hundreds of sheep. There is bakery, café, a swimming pool, shop and opportunities for horseback riding.

A man and woman laughingly struggling with a high power bow and a little child running all around trying to stay out of the way. Empty beer cartons laying around in the morning. It felt dangerously out of control.

Breakfast is served on our pleasant Veranda. Stay in scenic and child-friendly surroundings with space for both play and rest in our garden. Public beach within walking distance.

Reviewed By AinonanaThis bed & breakfast was a wonderful place to spend a holiday! Jill & Henrik were such nice people and really made us feel welcome. They even gave some awesome fossil treasures to my child who is very interested in sciences. Our family room was spacious and clean. The garden was beautiful and there were a lot of toys and activities for kids. Breakfast was good and Jill even prepared us snack bags the last morning when we had to leace early. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we would love to return!

Reviewed By PaulG78This is a great hostel in a former school. The owner is very friendly, and had some great suggestions what to see and do at the island. The hostel is well equiped, with a big kitchen, big garden and nice living area. Our room wasn't really spacious but big enough for us. The showers weren't that good though, barely any privacy and out dated. (or if you prefer, 'vintage school showers':-)). But that was the onely disadvantage of this hostel. With an update of the showers, I would definitely give 5 stars.

Great location, nice little hostel
Reviewed By WombatelWe stayed in one of the little stugas behind the hostel, which was a single room that included a double bed, little kitchenette (sink, fridge, hob), and a surprisingly spacious bathroom at the back. There was easy communication with the hostel beforehand about how to get in, and when we arrived everything looked clean and lovely. We had a great time! The location is excellent, right in the middle of town and five minutes walk from one of the main squares - two minutes from good breakfast/dinner places and a great tea/coffee/chocolate shop. Would recommend.

The hostel is situated in a cozy forest area 700 meters away from Larbro. It's 36 km away from Visby, 6 km away from the racing track Gotland Ring and 36 km from the popular island Faro. The facility has a total of 34 rooms, divided into 3 houses. Every building has their own common bathrooms, kitchen and tv-room. Free Wi-Fi is included and are available everywhere in the hostel area. You can rent our rooms with full board and cleaning or without. All choices are possible! The hostel also has a gym, private parking and a sauna. There's also bikes for rent, surfboards for rent, a barbeque area, a restaurant and a store nearby. Our hostel is also rated as the most reasonably priced in Larbro! We are part of STF and their members gets discount here. You can buy membership in the reception. Welcome!

First of all the place is very well equipped with a functional kitchen and seating areas. In our small room the beds are comfortable and everything is very clean and fresh. It is peaceful and calm. We make our own breakfast and can choose between sitting at the tables just outside the rooms or to sit out and enjoy our meal. The maintenance is satisfying and they’ve kept improving the standards throughout the years. I can highly recommend this hostel!

Perfect for large groups
Reviewed By Louise H21 family members stayed at Lummelunda Vandrarhem for a wedding. We had an absolutely wonderful time. It was perfect; close to the water, a soccer field, an area with games (love "kubb"), a large front porch with tables..... We could not have asked for a better place to stay. It is clean, Torgny (owner) and Maria are so helpful, kind and fun. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Gotland : )
