This museum has some priceless historic exhibits. The sculpture section is stunning, with examples from various ancient sites including Ephesus, Pergamon, Miletus as well as the agora in Izmir itself. The sculptures range in date from Archaic, Hellenistic and Roman periods. The pottery section is also very impressive. Highly recommended.
