Putt N Glow

Putt N Glow is the first and only indoor themed, glow-in-the-dark miniature golf attraction in Johor, Malaysia. We are located in Eco Botanic City in Iskandar Puteri. At Putt N Glow, we designed our 18 hole miniature golf course to be fun and challenging and to be played in the comfort of an air-conditioned area. Come experience this new fun-filled entertainment for all.

We visited Putt N Glow on Sun 3 Nov with my kids (aged 6 and 7). The staff there were very patient in explaining how the game is played and clearly enjoyed interacting with kids. The inside decor was well maintained and very professionally done. The kids enjoyed the fact that their light coloured clothes glowed in the dark and quickly figured out how to play as the course was well marked. Some of the holes were challenging and the adults enjoyed it more than expected. We had a great time as a family and it was extremely affordable as well. This may also be good for team building/corporate events as most people would find this an enjoyable indoor activity. The area around Putt N Glow also has a lot of new restaurants and a nice bakery. Highly recommended!

Dalit Bay Golf & Country club is the resort’s 18-hole championship golf course. Bordered by the Tambalang and Mengkabong rivers, guests can tee-off with stunning views of Mount Kinabalu in the background. Dalit Bay is a spectacular looking golf course with great views of the South China Sea set in lush jungle. Club staff are very friendly and professional. If you play golf, I would highly recommend playing this course; a fantastic way to spend a few hours enjoying views of Mt. Kinabalu.

99 East Golf Club

We are delighted to announce the recent re-opening of 9 fully refurbished holes at 99 East. We are the first golf course in Malaysia to install Zeon Zoysia grass, which is now fully grown in on our fairways and tees, with totally refurbished TifEagle greens. We have also undertaken a complete rebuilding programme for our unique bunkers, all of which have new drainage, sand trapper and triple washed sand. We are working on the completion of the remaining 9 holes and permanent clubhouse by mid-2019 and hope to have a further 3 holes completed and ready for play by early in the new year. In the meantime we have a newly stocked pro shop and golfers are able to enjoy a pre or post golf meal or drink at the highly regarded Fat Frog Restaurant, with stunning views of our first hole and the ocean beyond. Please call or email for tee times.

Meru Valley Resort

Meru Valley Resort is a residential golf resort situated just 10 minutes out of Ipoh City with resort homes surrounding a breathtaking 27-hole international championship course. The resort boasts of the ultimately chic and modern lifestyle at the Meru Suites accommodations and a famed Clubhouse restaurant (Dome Restaurant) serving a range of delectable International cuisine. For members, leisure opportunities await you at the stylishly designed clubhouse with facilities such as a swimming pool, tennis courts, gymnasium, sauna, children's play area and a basketball court. Jungle trekking to pristine waterfalls is a mere walking distance with the resort being located adjacent to the Kledang Saiong forest reserve.

We stayed 2 nights at Meru Valley and had a great time. Superb atmosphere for a relax weekend. Even though it says 10 mins from the city it is a bit difficult to walk from the city to the resort considering the road network. Get a taxi or use your own vehicle. Taxi costs about 12-14 MYR from the city to the suites. Once you reach the guard house, you just need to tell them that you have a reservation. The guards will escort you to the main entrance of the suites. Once done with the paper work the receptionist will take you to your room and give you information on the way. Since I'm not much in to Golf I will not comment on that regard. Good breakfast buffet at the Dome restaurant. Even though it was the club house wearing shorts was allowed during dining. Tried Osrich satay on the BBQ night and it was lovely. At times the food takes a bit longer to be delivered than usual. Great hospitality and service from the staff. The best part is that every time you see a guard they will salute you. Be kind enough to salute back. If your planning to take the train from KL to Ipoh make sure that you get your tickets early. We ended up spending a good amount of money using the taxi since all trains were booked on the day we planned to go. No buses to Ipoh from KL,so its either the train or the Taxi. The city seems to be dead on Sundays where most of the attractions close before noon. We ended up doing nothing at Ipoh since it was a Sunday. That gave us plenty of time to enjoy a good relaxing 2 days at the suites.

The Els Club Teluk Datai

The Els Club Teluk Datai, located on the beautiful island of Langkawi. Easily one of the most stunning golf courses to open in SE Asia, it features an 18-hole Par 72, 6,750 yard resort golf course. Nestled within a centuries-old rain forest with towering lush tropical foliage, the holes meander their way down to the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea. The backdrop for the entire course is the Mat Chin Chang mountains. We were recently voted #83 in the world by Golf Digest. The Hornbill Cafe part of the award-winning ‘Els Club Teluk Datai’ which has many believe that access is exclusive to elite club members and avid golf players - the cafe is open to public. So a great opportunity to enjoy a lovely meal and great service in a truly amazing setting!

I knew the place, so I wanted to play here again, when coming to KL again. The course is beautiful, very well kept fairways, bunkers and greens. Caddies are well trained. Some part of the game can be challenging, especially, when it gets hot and then playing from the back tees.
