This 175 square metre basement space has been transformed into a book shop and gallery with a stage. On exhibition are hundreds of posters; more than 500 antique maps; over a thousand hand coloured botanical lithographs and of course books. “It’s the dramatic side for this fascinating industry that I’m trying to present here” says James Findlay who has been in the trade for 23 years. "These vintage posters are artefacts themselves. Not only do they represent a period in our history, they were present at that time. These decorative objects are not only there to beautify people’s homes, but they have the added allure of being historical”.
