10 Fun Activities & Games in Stockholm That You Shouldn't Miss

January 20, 2022 Lean Nau

The capital city of Sweden combines modern attractions with historic charm. Kick off your stay with visits to Stockholm’s two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Royal Palace Drottningholm (the residence of the royal family) and the magical Skogskyrkogården, or Woodland Cemetery. Stroll the cobblestone streets of Old Town and over the picturesque bridges that span the city’s canals. The 19th-century Skansen was the world’s first open-air museum and is still a premier place to learn about Swedish history.

Fox in a Box Stockholm

Fox in a Box Roomescape is an exciting live game, designed for small groups of 2 to 6 people. You are locked in a room and you have 60 minutes to solve the mystery using logic and team work. In this hour you will feel excitement like never before. Your team will have to work together in every step in order to beat the room.

We were a group of six and first did the Life sentence game with 3 people in each room. It was an enyojable experience and completed it with about 15 minutes left. But since one of the rooms did malfunction during our stay, we got a voucher for another game. For our next visit, we did the Bank job. With 6 people again, we were able to complete it with around 15 minutes left. It was a well-planed room for a larger group of people which made for a thrilling and fun experience. There were several puzzles and leads to follow, so a group of 3-6 people is advised. Since the staff had a little regret after our first failed game, we were offered to play the Bunker on spot after completing the Bank Job. This room was more difficult than than the Bank Job and we managed to complete it with 1 minute left. Nontheless, it was also a very fun and entertaining experience. One negative about this room was that you had some deadtime for the rest of the group in some occasions, so a group of 2-4 people is probably enough. Overall, interesting and thrilling escape room designs and great service to their customers - a must do if you're planning on doing escape rooms in Stockholm!

We had an amazing experience at Escape Stories. The introduction was great and the room we tried out was loads of fun. It was tough and required full focus...and some help by the professional guide on the other side of the walki-talki. The room was filled with cool clues and i cannot remember last time i had soo much fun. If you want to solve puzzles and clues, use your imagination and have loads of fun- you MUST go.

100 Point Challenge Stockholm

The 100 Point Challenge is a game, a quiz, and a race against the clock, and we think it is the most fun way to discover Stockholm. Play Stockholm's original city discovery game where you take photos, find hidden locations, create stuff and test your brain power, all while solving problems and challenges based on the city layout, culture and history. Astrid's Adventure is the perfect challenge if you are visiting Stockholm for the first time or are unfamiliar with the city. If you are living in Stockholm or are very familiar with its layout, then Bjorn's Battle is the challenge for you.

We were four friends who decided to try The Cure, none of us had tried an escape room before. The hour went by really fast and the puzzles were hard but not too hard. We came here by car and the parking was not a problem, there are plenty in the area. I would definitely come back don’t hesitate to book!
