Clitheroe (/ˈklɪðəroʊ/ KLIDH-ə-roh) is a town and civil parish in the Borough of Ribble Valley, approximately 34 miles (55 km) northwest of Manchester, in Lancashire, England. It is near the Forest of Bowland, and is often used as a base for tourists visiting the area. In 2016, Clitheroe Built-up Area had an estimated population of 15,517.

As a regular visitor to Driscolls showrooms in Clitheroe, I would have no hesitation in recommending them if you are looking for qualty & beautifully presented antique furniture. Definitely worth a visit. The guys are very easy to do business with. Approachable & knowledgable.

Holden Clough has expanded so much and what they have achieved is stunning. Went to their Christmas market on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Something a bit different. Love the massive fire pit, the Shepherds Hut for food and the many beautiful areas of Christmas decorations. Gorgeous fairy lights gave the place a magical feel. Always someone on hand too to give advice about plants etc.

The Time Train

A curious, collectables and Vinyl Record shop sat on a pretty courtyard; residing in sunny Clitheroe, Lancashire. We have a small cafe serving freshly ground coffee, pots of tea, cakes and light bites! All sorts of curios items from years go by. We buy all sorts, so do get in touch if you have any retro, vintage or antique items you are looking to sell.

A lovely traditional pub just across from youth hostel. Great Theakstons' beer and a choice of seven fish dishes for Friday supper. Wonderful to sit outside

Had a great weekend at Mitton Hall. The staff are all amazing and really hard working - special mention to Sam and Jenny - thanks for looking after us! The food is spectacular to from breakfast through to dinner. The hotel has a very relaxing vibe set in the middle of the beautiful Ribble Valley Will return soon!
