Guided Fika Tour

Join us on a guided tour in Alingsas, The Capital of Fika. Learn more about the Swedish fika-tradition and Alingsas long and vibrant bakery and cafe history. For the next hour and a half, we visit some cafés where we at each stop sample goodies commonly associated with the traditional Swedish fika. This can include local coffee, cinnamon buns, cookies, chocolate truffles and pastries. The tour will finish with a sitdown fika and a slice of the infamous and very delicious Princess Cake. Our experienced guide will accompany you throughout – talking about how coffee and tea came to Sweden and how the strong Swedish fika-culture developed over time. You will also learn the history behind the local cafés and bakeries, combined with a few entertaining café stories. The guide will speak both Swedish and English when needed.

Ale Disc Golf Center

Our vision is to offer the best disc golf facility in the world where everyone (beginners and pros) can enjoy the fantastic sport of disc golf. We offer three courses: 1) a 6 hole beginner course, 2) a medium long 18 hole course in a beautiful forest environment, and 3) a long and difficult 18 hole course which is a real challenge to master. We also have a shop, putting area, driving range and a huge grill free for everyone to use and a possibility to dine inside (for perhaps 10–15 people) if it rains. If the shop is closed, you can still pay and play, but that require that you have access to your own discs. Give it a try and I guarantee you'll be back :-)
