Silverthorn is a specialist Cap Classique producer, offering a selection of terroir inspired, traditional bottle fermented sparkling wines. Silverthorn is a small family farm established in 1976 and has been producing Cap Classique since 2004. Marbrin Olive Farm

Xmas 2020 trading hours Mon-Fri 9am-4pm Sat and Public holidays 10am-2pm 25th Dec 2020 and 1st of Jan 2021 Closed We are a small family-run boutique olive farm nestled in the renowned Robertson Breede River Valley surrounded by the Langeberg and Riviersonderend Mountains. We extract extra virgin olive oil and process our own unique range of table olives and tapenade. Come and enjoy the ambience of the Robertson Valley as well as the taste of our olives and olive oil, a fruit well-known for its remarkable health benefits. Heading out of Robertson towards Ashton on the Red you will turn left into into Klaasvoogds East (NOT Klaasvoogds West) and travel for about another 2km's till you see the big green Marbrin Olive growers board on your right, turn in there and follow the dirt road for another 2KM'S till you reach the tasting room. Road can be a little bumpy in places, but worth it.

MARBRIN OLIVES - ROBERTSON. Set up an appointment to visit this olive farm and indulge in all things olive. Luscious oils, tasty olives, real tapenade, soaps and if you are lucky you might even get to try the amazing ice cream. Clive is a very enthusiastic and charismatic host so prepare to be entertained! Arendsig Single Vineyard Wines

Arendsig is a small, boutique wine farm with guest accommodation. We are open by appointment only. There are 4 cottages that are situated between the Cabernet and Chardonnay vineyards, overlooking the Breede River. The cottages are fully equipped allowing for either self catering or bed and breakfast bookings. This is a ideal romantic or family getaway. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace or a swim in the river. There are many beautiful bird watching, hiking, mountain biking and trial running opportunities in the area.

We booked at tasting here as a large group. It was really something special! Lourens (the wine maker himself) does the wine tasting for you. His passion is contagious! We learnt so much and enjoyed so many interesting wines that are just so special. Highly recommended!

We had a very delightful and relaxing stay at Tanagra Garden Cottage. Hosts are great and accomodating with everything. Wines are excellent too.

De Wetshof Estate

The name De Wetshof has been synonymous with the production of fine wines in South Africa since the 1970's. As the first registered wine estate in the Robertson Wine Valley, De Wetshof has become known internationally as South Africa's eminent Chardonnay House due to the pioneering role it played in introducing this noble Burgundian grape to the country.

Having a somm guide your tasting is rare experience these days - Heinrich was an incredible host for that and his charming character. The Site chardonnay, 2016 Pinot noir and the Bateleur are deliciously expressive wines. Must visit in Robertson
