Twenty-five hectares farm in the hills, located in the inland of Agrigento, where extra virgin olive oil, apricots, table grape and pomegranates are produced. Typical Sicilian farmhouse of the late nineteenth century expertly restored respecting the original architectural features, welcomes visitors in a familiar atmosphere. The property has eight double, triple or quadruple rooms, two of which are suitable for disabled guests. All equipped with bathroom and air conditioning, are comfortably furnished and equipped with every comfort, with their own peculiarities and retain the original wooden trusses. The property also has a nice apartment, the Suite, consisting of two independent bedrooms with shared bathroom and a private terrace. The facility is equipped with a large dining room where typical Sicilian dishes are served and prepared with local and seasonal products.

Reviewed By X5679IBmichaelacVery lovely and peaceful Agriturismo, located in the countryside, about 20 mins away from the center of Naro. It is well maintained and clean. Rooms were nice and spacious, which included all our basic needs. The staff were also really friendly. Breakfast had a great selection of cakes, artisanal biscuits, homemade jams, fruits, breads… (the cakes were delicious). Of course, the dinner was exceptional too! Would totally recommend this place

Quiet stay in a beautiful winery and olive plantation
Reviewed By Katharina SWell maintained tastfully decorated structure in middle of a beautiful agricultural park. Very nice reception by the family, great garden and swimming pool. Good house wines, taste the Rosé! No dinner in the tenute but a very nice restaurant in a small viliage nearby (5-7 minutes by car) "la lucciola" in Calamonaci.

Sono in corso interventi di ristrutturazione di altri tre fabbricati in modo da portare l'ospitalità a 55 persone. Stiamo realizzando una zona riservata agli amanti del camperismo dotata di piazzole e servizi.RistoranteLa vecchia Badia delle monache con il baglio annesso, che di il nome all'azienda, è stata trasformata in locale per la ristorazione degli ospiti. Nel tempo ha subito diverse trasformazioni che ne hanno alterato profondamente l'aspetto primitivo; con il restauro si è cercato di ripristinare l'antica struttura. Vi offriamo i piatti della tradizione contadina fatti con i nostri prodotti appena colti. Sono a disposizione degli ospiti vini, olio e altri prodotti aziendali.Possibilità di menù dietetici e per celiaci N.B. Il ristorante sarà felice di servire anche gli ospiti che non pernottano. Friendly people, great food
Reviewed By 560donbAgriturismo Coscio di Badia was by far the nicest place we stayed in Sicily. The room was large, separated from the main house, quiet, and everything worked. The spacious shower was especially appreciated. The farm was very large with paths to wander and a lake to explore. It was an easy drive to the Valley of the Temples. The entire family could not have been more accommodating. They treated us like long time friends. We chose to have Mama Antonella cook for us a 4 course meal with wine every evening. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. It was a true survey of Sicilian cuisine from hearty soups to delicate cheeses. Her stuffed magenta artichokes were wonderful. I would surely stay there again.

Perfect place to stay in the gorgeous Sicilian countryside
Reviewed By kacarlson5Feudo Muxarello is situated in gorgeous agricultural countryside with a stunning view of the nearby hills that makes for a great sunset and backdrop for each morning’s breakfast. It is a bit far removed from nearby villages, but since there is a pool, great hiking options right from the farm and a wonderful dinner on offer together with the family, it is the perfect place to visit to take a refreshing break in nature. To top it all off, the family who owns the farm and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and gave us great tips and insight for our Sicilian adventure. Would definitely like to come back for the olive harvest!

Perfect Sicilian Agriturismo
Reviewed By 448ellynlMy husband and I spent 3 glorious days here in August. Our host, Giuseppe, was very kind and welcoming. Our room was very large, with a huge terrace and an elegant renovated bathroom. The property is just beautiful, and the breakfasts are delicious with a great variety, served in the dining room and outside by the pool. The dinners were excellent, with multiple antipasto dishes, a wonderful risotto or pasta, a meat course and dessert. After we left, I realized that I’d left something in the room. We drove 2 1/2 hours back to pick it up. Giuseppe was so welcoming, offering us a drink and a swim in the pool. I would HIGHLY recommend Reggia Saracena if you are visiting Agrigento. Great staff, delicious Sicilian cuisine, great accommodations, and best of all, Giuseppe!

Reviewed By IrishSaltyOne of my favourite places I’ve stayed. Beautiful clean apartments, really well equipped. You can walk to the nearby montallegro for dinner or a drink. Lots of small shops (great bakeries). There are a couple of stunning beaches a short drive away. You’re also close to lots of interesting places including the valley of the temples. Selenia is the nicest host I’ve ever met. She could not have been more pleasant or more helpful. Don’t hesitate to stay here!
