This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten. (And it is very reasonable if I compare some other Michelins I have eaten at in London: Le Gavroche, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Theo Randall). I have Italian family and have eaten in many establishments in Italy.
I had some sort of tasting menu:
Baccalà and porcini pizzette
Bufala and spremuta di pomodoro
Acciughe and pomodoro con pane
Polpo sulla roccia
Arancino con brodo di triglia
Maiale
Cannolo
... The service was also impeccable and very friendly.
The only drawback was that I didn't really like the pork. There was nothing wrong with it, the flavours were just too strong and I ordered badly.
The rest of the meal was incomparable and was maybe the best meal I've ever had. Well worth the trip from Agrigento (and maybe from London).

wine recommendation was also fantastic, we have same wine each dinner, we loved the Sicilian vino rosso!
My wife requires gluten free food and it was great!
Gluten free pasta was available as well.
Very friendly service from the owner of the restaurant, a lovely lady.

We found the restaurant late in our trip but still managed to sample the tasting menu twice. From the outside the building does not look anything special but once over the doorstop the transformation begins. Once inside we received a very warm and personal welcome from the Chef Damiano and his wife Adriana in the fantastic reception room with glass floor showing off the wine cellar below. We were then led through to a very impressive dining room complete with its own well. Onto the food, suffice to say turning up and sampling it is the only way to fully appreciate it. From the very first welcome dish, that in itself was worth the visit, right through to our last dessert not one disappointed.
In terms of cost this was the most expensive place we visited, in terms of value it was the best. Fantastically prepared dishes combined with a wonderfully warm and relaxed environment made both visits highlights of our holiday. For our second visit not only did they happily accept a very early booking due to us having to leave very early the next morning but they ensured every dish we had on the tasting menu was different from our previous visit!!! That is attention to the customer and the sign of a wonderfully talented Chef, combined with a brilliant front of house host. Wish we had found you earlier in our stay.
Thank you both for 2 great nights, when is the Glasgow branch opening :-)

We went to Monte Mare for dinner and even so there were no other guests and they could have called it a night, the staff went out of their way to make us enjoy our meal. We had pizza and pasta, which were both good, the octopus starter as well as the catch of the day, both of which were excellent. Thanks especially to Enza for babysitting our daughter :)

Service impeccable; professional, efficient: they attended to our every need.
We ordered a range of starter dishes all of which were full of great Sicilian flavour. For the main course, the boar pasta was extremely delicious, rich tasty meat cooked to perfection.
All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Fantastic food, pleasant ambience, lovely staff. Ideal for tourists wanting to experience a great Sicilian menu. You will certainly not be disappointed.

One of the best fast food I've ever tried. Quick service, good quality, huge servings, and delicious food. Because servings are big I preferred take away. There may be a queue during lunchtime. but they work quickly.

Best to find this place via the direction signs. Extremely passionate family who invited us in like family. The language barrier wasn't a problem at all. They are so passionate about the wine they produce and enjoy showing you how good it is by pairing it with there food if you book for a meal. We ended up buying six bottles of wine from here as well. You must book probably bets to phone or email. The food was excellent recommend the fish courses. Will go back here
