10 Day Trips from in Island of Gozo That You Shouldn't Miss

July 6, 2021 Brandee Mangan

Part of the Maltese archipelago, Gozo is the second-largest of the seven-island chain and basks in the Mediterranean off the coast of Sicily. More rural than its sister island, Malta, Gozo has a population of 31,000. Home to some of the oldest religious structures in the world, the fascinating Ggantija temples, the island offers dramatic orange-red sands and perfect snorkeling waters at striking Ramla Bay. Rickety buses ply Gozo's roads, making getting about the island an exciting component of your trip.

My week in Gozo had come to an end and thus trip was a fantastic way to conclude it! This trip will not only show you great views and caves, but burn off those vacation calories and get you toned - 3 hours of almost non-stop rowing and non-stop fun! We kayaked past the Oath Rock and fitted into a tiny cave in it, then carried on to a few more caves AND jumped off a small cliff in one of them - wild times! The water was very clear and warm and it was quite a pleasant day as well. There were 5 of us and it worked out at €30 each. Chris and the Kayak Gozo team have been extremely responsive and answered all our questions by email and when we got there. Chris supervised us on the kayaks throughout and took fabulous photos of us all. There is a space in the kayak which has a dry bag you can put your towels in, and another one which hd some waterproof jackets that helped to keep me warm after the dive. All in all, a very exciting activity to take part in and lovely photos to remember it! They were shared very promptly, so I could share them with my family!

CallCabs Malta is an excellent service. More so, it's very reliable, and you can count on it when you need their service. This review section leaves me only a selection of one date, so I chose the latest one I used their service. However, my wife has health issues and need regular treatment every two weeks. Since she can't walk very well, we cannot take the bus but use CallCabs' service instead. That goes on for over a year now, and their service is like clockwork. Always friendly, helpful, and very reliable. I had my fair share with other services here before I found CallCabs. So I can compare, and CallCabs definitely sticks out in a positive way. I highly recommend them to anybody who needs a ride.

Tour guide was nice but couldn't always hear him from the back of the jeep. The lunch in gozo was extremely cheaply done - mass made pasta for everyone to start, followed by two chicken thighs each and some veg, then some watermelon. Chilling on the boat near Comino and jumping off to swim was the most enjoyable part.
