Perfect Base
Reviewed By kha1184Although you are a little out of Hoi An centre it was perfect for us. 2 adults and our 6 year old spent 8 nights here and loved it. Made to feel like part of the family. We had a family triple room on the top floor which had a huge balcony and we captured some fantastic sunsets and electric storms. Very clean and modern and had everything we needed. Our room was cleaned everyday. Staff were wonderful and helpful, we hired bikes every day to get around the area and we cycled daily into Hoi An and this took 10 minutes, An Bang beach about the same and rising through paddy fields and seeing water buffaloes is something I’ll never forget. We arranged airport transfers with the villa and these were reasonably priced and prompt. They also booked our trip to the BaNa Hills. Pool was great and big enough for the size of the accommodation. Definitely don’t get put off by the ‘remote’ location, it’s perfect. Just a beautiful part of our trip. Highly recommended for all.

Bougain Villeas homestay is far from Hoi An center 1 km, far from Cua Dai Beach 3 km, it take about 10 minutes by bicycle.

Reviewed By sheykingsleyMe and my girlfriend spent three nights at this cute little homestay and frankly we would have been happy staying their another week. The owners (mum & dad) speak little to no English at all. Yet, every time you go out they wave you goodbye, and every night when you come home, there they are to greet you and ask what you want for breakfast the next day - which is free, pretty tasty and generously sized. The rooms were spacious, cleaned daily, and just awesome for the price you pay. It is located probably a 20-30 minute walk away from the famous ancient town but they provide FREE cycle bikes, so it only takes 5 minutes to get into town. I’ve seen that some people complain about them breaking quite often, we didn’t have that problem and they’re free so how can you complain? Couldn’t recommend this place enough and Hoi An for that matter. Best place in Vietnam by a long shot! We will be back ??

Reviewed By LiamroadWe absolutely love it here. We visited in 2019 and again in 2020. There is nothing bad to say. The staff are lovely and welcoming, breakfast is good and the rooms are lovely! We love Ang Bang and wouldn’t ever stay anywhere else. Let’s hope we can visit again in 2021! Fingers crossed.

The Happy Bird is located in a quiet and authentic Vietnamese neighborhood in Hoi An’s lovely fishing village An Bang. It consists of three bungalows, two lofts and a modern Café. It is specifically aimed at flashpacking couples and families. The highlights of the Happy Bird are the colorfully painted and lovingly furnished bungalows, the location in the middle of an authentic Vietnamese neighborhood and the mile-long beach of An Bang right on the doorstep. Our cozy next-to-the-beach private bungalows offer privacy and are colorfully painted, lovingly furnished and equipped with a romantic four-poster queen-size double beds. They have their own private bathroom and are equipped with a dresser, a sideboard, a fan and a little green garden in front of it. In the Happy Bird there is a big jungle garden, a cozy terrace with big bamboo beds and our Bird’s Café to enjoy breakfast and drinks. The breathtaking Beach of An Bang is just a short walk away.

The shared space has a nice day bed and lounge area to have breakfast or coffee in the mornings. The owners are very kind, warm and welcoming. The room I had was so right for a solo traveler or a couple looking for a quiet place to call home for the night. Comfortable bed. Boutique interior design that goes beyond the cold feel of generic hotels and into a true home feel. The owners make killer coffee. And they give great recommendations.

Delightful little hotel near the beach
Reviewed By alanbently64The Shoreline Stay made us very welcome for our 8 day rest at An Bang. Sang the manager was very warm and helpful. The rooms were cleaned and tidied daily. The hotel only has I think 9 or 10 rooms all facing south and east overlooking a pool around which breakfast is served. The staff were very helpful in advising the best tailors in Hoi An and lent bikes and a cheap motorbike for trips out and about. The Shoreline Stay is near restaurants and cafes and just 100 metres or so from the beach, a vast strand stretching from Da Nang south well beyond An Bang. Highly recommended!

Great host, great welcome
Reviewed By GabyCroatiaThe amenity is really nice. It is such as you can see in the photos. It is very traditional, wooden, it appealed us from the moment we saw it in the pictures. We booked it and when we arrived it was so. We were welcomed so warmly. It was written on the board "Welcome Gabrijela and a family". It was so nice. You immediately feel welcomed and great, with such a gesture. The room was nice, cosy, everything great. Breakfast is great and tasty. We could have bikes for free to go to the beach or around sightseeing. The part of the beach near this guesthouse is amazing because it is not too crowded. We loved everything. But I had one problem -cockroaches. When we turned on air conditioner a big cockroach fell from it. Kim said it is normal in Vietnam and I understand it is. She gave me a spray to spray the room. My problem is that I am really disgusted by them. Next evening we found another one. The next morning we decided to leave and Kim perfectly understood it and she did not charge us one more night although we prebooked it. We were ready to pay but she was really great. She even offered to give us a ride to another amenity. I just want to say that everything is great but if you are not ready for such encounters, just that you know. It is such type of amenity. It is wooden, it is kind of a bungalow and I understand it can happen. I just did not expect that, I said I am really disgusted and I could not feel comfortable there. It is another thing when I see them in the street and in the room. Maybe I had bad luck that I encountered them twice. That is only my problem. I just want to warn those who are not possibly ready for that. Kim will understand, as she understood me, she is a wonderful host. I would recommend it definitely if you don't have such fear.

Wonderful 2 weeks stay
Reviewed By Traveling_XavierI'm currently a digital momad and got a stay for 2 weeks at this "hostel" with a package from Hub Hoi An. The bungalow I got in this place was clearly new and well furnished. You have a separate bathroom with hot water and a big room with a nice 2 persons bed, 2 chairs and a table, a desk with a stool and a mirror and mini fridge in a nice wooden furniture. There also is a TV screen that I haven't used. You can order a breakfast in the morning, do your laundry here, you have free bicycle and can rent a scooter, you can enjoy the pool, you can book tours from here, well you have everything you need. You're in between the beaches and the old town which is really nice but still have a lot of restaurants and cie in the area. The owners are a really nice family that were always smiling and ready to help and one of them spoke well English. I can only recommend this place for your travel!
