Reviewed By SanchuzWe went as a family to Munnar there were 12 of us. The property was good. But not great accessibility to the location . the rooms were good and well maintained . The food was good. the staff helpful and friendly. But we were not able to get a campfire , as promised. Not a big property but enough to enjoy with friends and family. the pool was also good. the kids enjoyed it.

Reviewed By SampadapatkiWe loved this place. But I will also use this review to warn travellers of what to watch out for. Pros: 1. The room view is incomparable! The balcony faces a heavily gushing stream and lush greenery all around. You fall asleep next to the soothing sound of the river. You can even walk down to the stream (at your own risk) 2. The beds are nice and comfortable 3. Were surprised to see that TV has English channels such as Romedy Now etc. 4. Good scrumptious on time breakfast 5. Provided free bicycles (some were not in good condition - staff informed us accordingly) 6. Staff was very polite, courteous, helpful and prompt (provided umbrella on request) 7. Rooms are soundproofed, so all you hear is the tranquil stream sounds 8. It is a clean, well-maintained property Cons / watch out for: 1. If you get one of the lower most rooms (like we did - no. 209), be prepared to walk up and down for breakfast, and basically everything. Not recommended for elderly people or people with physical health issues 2. What makes the location exclusive is also a con. Since it is a steep drive down, you are totally dependent on your driver to take you around. The main town (for restaurants or convenience stores) is at least 2-3 kms away. So it is not walking distance. No street lights at night. So walking and exploring on your own is not really an option. 3. Our driver informed us that the toilets meant for drivers were not very clean, which was a cause of concern for us. 4. One of the approach roads is in very bad condition. So if you or the driver is not aware of this, you are likely to get stuck on a bad road. 5. While the breakfast was good, we did not quite like the dinner much. Hence we went out every night.

Reviewed By sugumarselvi83We already stayed this property during 2008. It was very clean and neat. He provided complimentary breakfast and night dinner cost basis. Very tasty foods they provided unlimited. We stayed for 2 nights in Green mount cottage. We were 5 of them and booked 2 rooms and allotted upstair. This cottage is run by Mr.Martin and his wife. Mr.Martin owner of this property was very nice and gentleman and moved friendly. They provided complimentary breakfast every day. Complementary breakfast was awesome every day unlimited. (Kadala curry, appam, puttu.....). This place is also closer to kalpetta main road and hence we can visit any nearby hotel or bakery for any food needs in evening or night. Bur this time Oct 26th to 28th 2019, we upset for this property. My son and daughter in law have very upset and unlike this property due to the following reasons: Cost wise it is slightly high compared to other best hotel and cottage They provided used pillow cover and bed sheets. It is dirty and bad smell. Pillow cover and bed sheets are not clean. The bedding and mattress need to be improved and can be more clean and neat We saw Leech (Attai poochi) inside the room and bath room during our entire staying. They not provided drinking water. Next day we asked and he gave two bottles of water. Third day he was not gave. Toiletry items only soap given. No wall clock, it is very difficult to know night and early mornings time. No staff provided to maintain, clean cottage and room. Staircases was not clean every day and no light in staircase. Night time it is very difficult to step down and up. We complained balcony light not function and tap water leak in bathroom. But he did not rectify till we checkout. They have not provided light in the main entrance of the cottage. It is dark during night. Proper maintenance made in this property, it is one of the best property to stay in Wayanad.

Lights are not working, bathroom doors are broken, full of cobwebs, beds are shaking. The attitude of the Management was horrible. When pointed out, the reaction was surprising. No hospitality at all....they asked us to vacate the rooms and said they will reimburse the booking amount.....Imagine a person made advance booking and travelling from long distance!!!!! Only good thing was the boat ride however, no safety for the passengers ensured. Even in the pool, where pedal boats are kept for the children. Food is standard. Stay was horrible and a nightmare. Similar opinion received from past visitors too but was unlucky as I received it after my visit only.... Never again......
