Reviewed By osullm89Really nice beds, comfortable, clean and warm in winter! Such a lovely friendly man the owner is. He couldn't have done more for us. The area is quite safe compared to some areas of Valpariso which can be quite dangerous. Ask the owner and he will advise you where to avoid.

Reviewed By danielpP4521KSThis is my first time here and: - The pool smells like pure bleach - the internet did not work; I could not connect none of my devices to the internet. - the rooms had very poor lighting at night - The room lacked most of the kitchen aids needed for cooking etc. I apologize for being so negative, but if you di not provide a service that impresses at first sight, you just don’t make it. Well, this place just did not make it for my stand point of view

Reviewed By ulilink57We stayed one night at the hotel in low season, as the only guests. We were very well taken care of, lovely staff and great service. The Hotel ist beautifully arranged and furnished, everything is neat and clean, breakfast was perfect, we truly enjoyed our stay and recommend.

Lo único bueno es la vista
Reviewed By sophfromthesunDonde mires sucio: closet capa de polvo y puertas sucias, zancudos pegados en los muros, pelos, mesas pegajosas y toallas manchadas. Los colchones seguro es que nunca los han renovado, las almohadas tampoco. Internet inestable. Dejan las toallas de todos los huéspedes en bolsas transparentes en el pasillo durante todo el día. Lo único bueno es la vista, estar a pasos de la playa y dormir escuchando el mar!

Concon Chile comfort
Reviewed By MaynetwoWe stayed at the Blumen Platz for three nights in December 2011 and totally enjoyed it. The gardens and the landscaping is a trasure and the view of the ocean is spectacular. Extreemly friendly hosts and the staff are always there to assist. It is not the easiest place to find but is definately worth the effort.

Riomar is an apart hotel in Concón, a fisherman village on the Chilean coast of Pacific Ocean . We offer 10 apartments, neat and cozy, perfect for a couple or a small family. Each apartment has either balcony or terrace, overlooking the ocean and bird reserve on Aconcagua River. That's where you'll enjoy your morning coffee while hundreds of migratory birds from Central and North America will perform their breathtaking dance in the air. Once you climb down the stairs just by hotel, you'll find yourself in the heart of Chilean capital of gastronomy with a multitude of restaurants offering a variety of fish and sea food. Then a few more steps will take you to La Boca beach, widely known as a surfing spot but also ideal for horseback riding, paragliding, kayaking or just a long sunset walk. A cultural day trip to Valparaiso (30-45 min by car/ public transportation), the bohemian and historical port city of UNESCO World Heritage Site is another must-do in the region.
Very Welcoming
Reviewed By Darryl CFor the price one can't beat Riomar for economic accomodations in a beautiful setting. Yes,it's a bit dated and the parking situation is atrocious but the cleanliness, very helpful staff and great balcony (with BBQ!) easily make up for any shortcomings. It was great to explore the local fish markets and have the luxury of preparing the catch of the day in the privacy of your own terrace. Marek, Pablo and staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job every morning .(...although a bit stingy with soap and using the same towels for several days). We spent 6 days in the Concon area and we were so glad to come "home" every day to Riomar. For a reasonable price, great location in a clean, secure and welcoming hotel, Riomar is super. Thanks Marek!
