Reviewed By AbcCheungThis is my second review on Modena Shanghai Putuo because I had to write this. I was sent to a hospital emergency room for stomach homerrahhage in the evening of Jun 21, 2021. Linda Lin first visited and found me in a dangerous condition in my Modena room and arranged car and driver to send me immediately to the emergency room, and Sandy Hua accompanied me thru the whole checking process and stayed there with me until midnight. I don't think an ordinary review would be enough for my appreciation and gratitude. They are not just hotel staff. They are family. They saved my life. And on another note, the manager Jason Jiang is also great. I'm here sending my deepest gratitude to them!

Riverdale Residence Xintiandi Shanghai is a 5-minute walk from Huaihai Road and iconic bars and restaurants in Xintiandi Area, as well as the famous Shikumen Houses nearby. Avoid at all cost if you wish to stay long term
Reviewed By POOTY0We stayed here for many months. It is good for short term stays but not long term stays. These are the following issues: 1. Front desk are not customer service oriented, especially ladies at front desk. They will gossip and talk loudly during their work. The ladies at front desk just want to get paid while minimal effort is given. 2. Customer service is minimal as they just want fast cash from you while at the same time, save the troubles from helping you with problems faced in the house. For example, the swimming pool has been renovating for many months yet there is no swimming pool available. They will give tons of excuses for no swimming pool. 3. Small gym area 4. Property have policies of not allowing delivery men to deliver the items to your doorstep. Understand the policy for safety purpose however there is only machine robot in delivering the items. Hence, you need to wait 20 to 30 mins for your items to be delivered to your doorstep. You need to proactively go down and collect the items yourself. 5. Some staff, not all staff will just throw your parcel on your doorstep. Heard a loud bang outside the doorstep and found my parcel. Overall, it is ok for a few days stay but not long term.

The hotel it self is well maintained, managed by the best general manager Jimmy. Jimmy is a wonderful person who takes his guests seriously! Someone whom you can count on that will solve all your needs and works out solutions! Under Jimmy’s management, all other staff are awesome as well! I would love to thank Susie, made my staying so much nicer and enjoyable! Love the gym, top line TechnoGym! Comfy mattress! Will definitely come back!

Great value, great location
Reviewed By Raoul RI arrived late at night on the subway, at the Jing An Temple station--a direct ride from either airport. It's easy to find the hotel as the streets are clearly marked. The hotel is on a narrow street with moderate traffic, and the only noise I heard was from a bar on the street level--it was not objectionable. Although it's an older building, it's very well-kept. My apartment included a spacious living room and bedroom, a nice bathroom, and a small kitchen. You'll find complimentary snacks and bottled water in your room, and they are replenished daily. You can also leave your dirty laundry out and the housekeepers will run it through the washing machine and hang it to dry for you. The location is excellent. Very close to the subway, and there's plenty to see in the immediate area. The management people are kind and helpful and speak English.

Chill, Upscale, Great Staff
Reviewed By ThebluepigI stay here frequently throughout the year. The main reasons are that it’s super quiet, very relaxed, I like the staff, and it’s convenient for foreigners (like me). There are a lot of nice restaurants nearby, and a big Carrefour a few blocks away with lots of little shops if you need most anything. It’s just western enough that you get the best of Shanghai with a lot of convenience. If they could improve one thing it would be the entrance gate. There’s a recording announcing each time someone drives through the front gate, so if your room is on a lower floor in Building F or A, you hear it nonstop. Other than that, it’s great. There’s a big lounge on the second floor of abolishing A with a kids area that’s elegant and often not used. If you arrive early or need to meet up with someone, it’s a great spot. The gym is big with decent equipment (though some could be upgraded) and there’s a big pool adjacent. The reception staff are some of the best - friendly and helpful without being obsequious, and the staff in the restaurant are also very nice. What I love most about Shanghai is that taken collectively, it doesn’t have to try hard. It has a lot already going for it. And Green Court Service Apartments reflects that in many ways.

Reviewed By dincer80One of the best places if you visit Shanghai with a baby or toddler. Kitchen is quite important when travelling with babies, you will find a very nice kitchen here. Besides there is great play room for kids. Location is also very good, very central and many dining options in the same complex. Definitely recommend.

Reviewed By redeyebluesNot everything is in perfect condition but the room is 35+m2 and everything works or the very helpful staff try to fix it for you right away. There's frontdesk staff on the first floor 24 hours in case you forget your elevator card to access the hotel floors, but the actual reception for the service apartment is 1103 in the "International Apartment" building (not "Administration Mansion") - try to get their WeChat account in case they're not in the office late at night (someone responds at all hours, be it midnight or 4 am). You can even have stuff delivered here when you're not in. You can do laundry in your room and it dries in a day on the dryer rack provided. Rooms are cleaned every other day and sheets are changed every 6 days unless you specify otherwise - it's not spotless but it's fairly clean. If your neighbor smokes, your room might be a bit smelly through the vents for a little while but otherwise it's fine even for someone who hates the smell of cigarette smoke. It's generally pretty quiet but again, if you have inconsiderate neighbors who shout at odd hours, then you can definitely hear them. The aircon is quiet and works very well. The electric stove light may stay lit long after you've turned it off but turns off automatically after 30 minutes. Wifi works. Lots of channels but almost all of the channels on TV are in Chinese except for maybe a couple. It's at Jiangning Road and Wuding Road, a tall building with the sign "BAOYE GROUP/Shanghai Boutique" across from "JiangAn Sports & Fitness Center". Lots of restaurants and 24-hour convenience stores around. There's a also a supermarket a short walk away called "Lianhua" on Xinzha Road. 15 minutes to walk to Line 2/12/13's West Nanjing Road Station, a very central area.

Reviewed By Coo_masa旅行を決めたのが2週間前、しかも年末年始の時期のため、上海のダウンタウンのホテルが軒並み取れない中、MRTの駅に近いここを予約しました。ダウンタウンからMRTで30～40分ほど離れているためか、費用が低く抑えられていますが、フルファーニッシュドアパートメントの部屋をホテルとして運用しているらしく、設備は新しく、清潔でエアコン、WiFi、電子レンジ、冷蔵庫、キッチン、食器、調理道具、全自動洗濯機、温水洗浄トイレと何でも揃っていて、とても快適でした。コスパ抜群です。近くに2か所ショッピングモールがあり、それぞれスーパーマーケットがあります。またファミリーマートもあります。短期滞在だけではく、少し長めの滞在にもぴったりです。

Stay away! Hot like hell hotel!

My company rent this hotel for me for few months stay, rent is not cheap, RMB 14000 per month, but services is very Chinese local style, reception basically has no smile never say hello, everyday got mail from reception is a nightmare. WiFi is good only in the dinning room, bedroom and toilet can’t use. They turned off cold air conditioning in mid of Oct while the weather is still not cold yet, my room temperature basically 35°C every day. I go to reception and complaint, they said the whole building turned cold air con off, and there’s no way to change the situation. I asked the other roommate do they share the same feeling they say yeah is fxxking hot! I don’t understand what is the logic behind this action because we are not in winter yet, I paid for my rent but I’m toasted in my room and no one has any interest to solve my problem, this is horrible! I couldn’t sleep at night because of too hot! I reached out to the sales who make our contract is already resigned. I couldn’t find a manager here……speechless I am suffering everyday and very upset. This hotel ruin my impression for Shanghai. Thank you so much!! BTW this hotel got awarded by booking.com! I bet they paid for it, I will never trust booking.com from now on.
