Reviewed By DayTrip814683Had to stay here unfortunately due to a timeshare promo. Staff was never working, lady manager always had a justification for our complaints. Hot water is non existent there, water actually shut off at 10pm and didn't turn back on until after 9am on day. Bar girl inside the lobby very rude, we asked for her to call the manager who had vanished for over 40 minutes and she said she didn't have a number to call her at. Free breakfast? Never. You have to go ask the same unhelpful bar lady for food and she would go and hide in the kitchen so no one would bother her. Then, the TV sucks, bad service, one day it wasn't even working, had to call the non existent staff again! Had to ask for towels because they wouldn't replace the ones in the room during room cleaning. Bathroom shower was super dirty with dirt streaks down the tub, GROSS. You get what you pay for. If you stay there, make sure you are barely in the room. WIFI didn't reach the room, so NO WIFI. Safe in room was broken, so not safe to leave anything in the room, they even disclaimed that!

Reviewed By WhiteDarrelI read some of these other reviews, and frankly was embarassed by the entitlement and spoiled behavour some tourists confessed to in thier reviews. A resort this is not. However, it is 3 blocks from one of the best beaches in the world. All the best tours will pick you up at BAM market a block and a half away. The staff here is accomedating, friendly, and tolerant of me speaking English at them constantly even though its kinda rude to do that. They have a nice open roof level terrace to drink rum and hang out on at night, and enjoy an included breakfast - usually yohgurt, cut up fruit, sandwich, coffee, and passionfruit juice. This is a good location in a rapidly developing country I would recommend this spot and return someday.

If that’s not confusing enough, it’s nowhere near Bávaro nor central Punta Cana nor ANY beaches. It’s located in a residential community in the Verón area (which is in the general Punta Cana region of the country). However, it is pleasant, reasonably priced accommodation near a large supermarket (department store really), a Pizza Hut, and fast food chicken restaurant. My room was actually more of a suite with a nice kitchen, dining area, living area, and good air condition in the separate bedroom. It was all spotless. The pool was cold but clean and there were plenty of places to lounge around it. I moved to much cheaper accommodation that was just as nice (without a kitchen) a few blocks from the beach. However, this might be fine if you just want a place to lounge around in the sun and cook your own meals.

Beautiful view, spacious balcony, private white sand beach with lounge chairs and shade. Beautiful property, security, bar on beach with food, great restaurants and grocery just outside property. Everything was clean and felt very safe. Had a wonderful relaxing time with friends. Pools and beach not busy at all. Much different vibe than crazy busy resorts where it's impossible to find an open chair by pool or beach in Mexican tourist areas. Best vacation ever!!

Upon arrival late at night we found a small detail less than perfect with our room and we thought this was going to impact our short trip. Within 5 minutes management came and made things right. It is of great value to know you are booking at a place with resident management that will address issues on the spot even at off hours. The manager stayed in contact with us via instant messaging and it was really a pleasure to deal with. Our apartment was nicely decorated, super roomy, with comfortable furniture, a very functional kitchen with newer appliances, outlets everywhere, marble counter-tops, spotless glassware and flatware. We had everything we needed to cook and eat. The A/C was modern and powerful. The showers had no issues, hot water came quickly, very clean, no rust, thick and thirsty towels. The beds were really comfortable. Wifi was surprisingly fast with strong signal throughout the condo. We got a unit with ocean view and a spacious balcony. The pool was spotless and while not large, we always found free spots where to sit. Parking is gated with parking spots close to the building entrance. We had no issues with bugs or insects inside or outside our rooms. Next time we visit Punta Cana, we are coming back to this property.

Reviewed By MariposaSaydaI have to start by saying my reservation was last minute. I had to leave that day due to flight delays I had to stay one more day in Punta Cana. I booked with 2 hours of me arriving to Sunset Residences. I was with my 2 kids & my boyfriend. I decided to choose this stay because I was under the impression by a representative that it was in all inclusive. None the less I show up on a rainy evening we are exhausted and hungry. To top it off I was told the reservation was not paid on there end it did not show. I was very frustrated but I understood it was not there fault but the person over the phone I made reservations with. Ezequiel ( Manager) was doing his best to get the information and help me as best possible. Few minutes upon my arrival Juan Ramon ( Owner) showed up and just top things off, he said it’s okay if the payment is here or not, I’m sure there tired and they have the kids let’s accommodate them in a room and we deal with this situation later. I have to say a huge blessing and a BIG release off my shoulder I was very grateful for this gesture of his. Within 30 minutes we where able to resolve the finance issue that had arise. But guess what ?? I was also misinformed in my reservation is not an all inclusive only breakfast is included. But once again Juan Ramon and Ezequiel went above and beyond my expectations with me and my family to correct the reservation error made which let me remind you they had nothing to do with it. My boyfriend next morning had to go to work I stayed with my 2 boys. Ezequiel messaged me thru whattsapp in the morning advising me just to text him once we where ready to have breakfast. I sure did send the text and he came picked us up and walked us to the dinning area, while we where there Juan Ramon showed up and once again making sure food and everything is okay with us, & let me tell you that he asked what we wanted for lunch and dinner he would go out to the grocery himself to go buy it. Man oh man I was just amazed by the attention and customer service they had. We sure had lunch but no dinner since we had to leave and start our drive to S.D airport. If I had to rate and give more than 5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would gladly place them, in customer service, cleanliness of the room, the hotel well organized, the dinning area is beautiful, the food had a beautiful presentation and the taste was just unexplainable amazing. Everything was great and I can thank enough Ezequiel and Juan Ramon for the great service given to me and my family. In a blink of eyes upon my return I would stay there with no hesitation. Let me not forget Ezequiel gave me a tour of the hotel and the setting and amenities they have are gorgeous. I highly recommend this place and I guarantee that as much as we loved it you would too. I’ll leave you with food images & couple of views I got to enjoy in my short stay ?hope you enjoy it as much as We did. Although it was for one night I got to enjoy the stay

Each apartment has a total price of 20.77 for the night, base on the price that was set up on the web. (Look at the picture). I set up my credit car for the payment to be debited but they never did, wen we get there the guy how gave us the keys tell us we have to pay 46 dollars instead of 20.77 bc the cleaning was 25 dollars. What mean we par 92dollars on total for the 2 apartments that were supposed to cost 46 for both. On top of that the service was really bad and the and also the attention. They didn’t even gave us a bottle of water that is the most simple thing to do. Wouldn’t stay there ever.

The view from the main room was outstanding, can't think of a better one to wake up and walk out to. We would definitely recommend this place!

ApartHotel Green Coast is located 15 metres from one of the most beautiful beaches in Dominican Republic, El Cortecito Beach, and in the heart of old romantic part of what once upon time was a fisherman's village of Bavaro. This is the only part of Bavaro and Punta Cana where you can really feel Caribbeans as it once was. It is full of good restaurants and small bars, gift shops and old colonials.

Reviewed By Whitney KWe thought our room had a small kitchen & a bed for our daughter. The kitchen had cabinets but no sink, no stove. The folded onto the floor. but we had AC & a tv. The breakfast included was amazing, fresh...& the hop, skip, jump to the hotel beachhead was worth it. Unlike the all inclusives around us, ours had a small bar& real palm trees for shade. The dinner was great & local restaurants, stores were very friendly. It is a real locals hangout too.
