Quiet yet central

The location is great; a short walk to the main street and beach, but down a small alley which sees little traffic. Last year we stayed in an apartment, but this year were in a studio. In some ways it was nicer as the bedroom was upstairs. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are competitively priced.

Reviewed By Yuni SI'm currently staying here with my sons and parents. We've got the 2 bedrooms apartment downstairs and close from the garden and pool. I've heard this place from a friend then my family stayed here for a month last year. I only hear good things about this place and decided to stay here on my long holiday since I have toddler I need somewhere quite and safe for family. The staffs are friendly and helpful My dad especially knows everyone's name since he's been here before and he enjoys himself like he was in his own village. My family often visit us here and there's no problem at all. The small cafe provides daily needs and they cook amazing Indonesian food with very affordable price. We love it here, it's lovely beautiful property and safe for family holiday. I would come back and definitely recommend this place to our friends back home. Thank you to Bu Putu for being helpful and so accommodated to our needs, your helps is greatly appreciated! ?

Reviewed By eguidoteGreat staff, very helpful, accommodating to my requests, all pleasant and friendly. They ensure that my room is in order and clean. Service is great hence this is the second time I have stayed in this place. Even if the location may be a bit odd for a first timer, one can get used to it and then you can walk to restaurants and the beach and quite safe during the day. I take the cab to the far places I go to and during night time. If you are a great fan of the Beatles, they have a small museum of the Beatles collections as the Owner collected them through the years.

Reviewed By Ingrid SNice little cosy courtyard with little terrace. Room is 3x3 so it's very small. Big refrigerator and one closet without hangers. Little or no place for your suitcase or other stuff. Also bathroom very small (1x3) with good working shower and very little sink. No place for your make up, soap or toothbrush near the sink. Very good working airco, almost no sound from it. Electric is poor: only one empty wall outlet for charging phone or tablet. And one near the bed, but it's with 3-way adapter: together with refrigerator and lamp. Not always working and may be dangerous like this. Had a lot of problems with the internet. Most of the time it didn't work. (Connected but no wifi:may be it's limited ?) For me a big disappointed cause I wanted to see Netflix. Could watch TV instead (but didn't) No noise from the busy street in front of the hotel, but walls are thin so sometimes noisy from the other people in the courtyard. Room is not so very expensive, so it was acceptable.

The room was serviced daily at various times and the was in itself fairly slapdash ( but as I said earlier $52 a night) The location is the real winner with restaurants outside your door If you’re looking for something quite I would choose further out of the main area All in all it was okay

Exceptional place to stay!
Reviewed By 838howardgI’ve stayed at The Paica on 4-5 occasions from 2017-2020 and always found it to be exceptionally well managed, wonderfully kind staff always happy to help with great rooms and wonderful guests and terrific prices. It’s in a good location away from the Denpasar madness yet close enough to Canggu / Seminyak / Berawa for comfort. The very comfortable beds ensure a great night’s sleep in this very peaceful jungle-like environment. Guests I have found always to be highly interesting, good people from all parts of the world, many I’ve met here are lifelong friends. I met my partner & future wife here : ) Although Archie & his mate were a minor, brief problem they WERE evicted very quickly and were a once-only unique exception to the Family-like atmosphere that prevails all the times I’ve stayed for months. I’ve never had anything but a happy, comfortable time. Facilities are very good in the common area downstairs and self cooking is available after the supplied breakfast from 11:00am. Or many warnings, restaurants are nearby, GoFood also and Canggu only 10-15 minutes by bike. Tiara Gatsu The great supermarket is 5 minutes by bike as is Dalung close. The cute pool, while adequate caters for the hot lazy days. The selection of rooms is highly varied on 4 levels so should suite all needs. The Paica is a great venue well worth staying!! Highly recommended. I’m back as soon as Bali reopens!!! Written 8/9/2020.

You have a cold shower... but it’s so hot during the day that I learned to appreciate it! And we stayed in hotels during our traveling around Indonesia and you pay double and most of the times they have cold showers too. The room was clean both times we stayed here. My boyfriend surfs and it is a great location for surfers, but also for not surfers. It’s in the middle of Uluwatu... they rent out scooters as well and in about 5 minutes you drive to all the good places around Uluwatu. Oh and the beds are really comfortable and big!!!!

Reviewed By Adrian1725I stayed at A Loft Apartments for just over one week and was very comfortable there, The owners Ari and Natalya are extremely friendly and welcoming. The room itself is very clean and has a very comfortable bed. There is a nice pool and the place is very safe and secure. I would definitely stay here again.
