A holiday in Norfolk is not a glamorous break. While the Norfolk Broads of East Anglia are a beautiful part of the UK, they represent a relaxing rural getaway rather than a high-powered city-break. Although its reputation is mostly rural, with people associating the county mostly with the wetlands of the Norfolk Broads, there are also towns such as Norwich and King's Lynn to visit, both of which provide shopping opportunities, nightlife and entertainment. Norfolk also contains a large stretch of coastline, and seaside destinations such as Cromer and Great Yearmouth mean there are great beaches to be found as well. Many areas of the Norfolk Broads and the coastal region are sites of outstanding natural beauty, and are also protected as bird reserves, so take a pair of binoculars on holiday. There are also popular wildlife attractions such as Banham Zoo, with a great collection of big cats, and Great Yarmouth's Sea Life Centre, one of the biggest of its kind in the country, complete with tropical sharks and conger eels. And of course, if any of your family are interested in boating, you'll need to rent a boat and explore the waterways of the Broads themselves!

World Class Circus shows all year round. Easter Pirates adventure, Summer Spectacular featuring legendary Water Spectacular. Halloween Spooktacular show and Christmas Spectacular. One of only 3 purpose built circus buildings left in the entire world, with original sinking ring feature. Built in 1903
Took some friends and children, haven't bee for a few years as you have to have the children as an excuse. Jack Jay and Johnny were very funny, every act was excellent, the children loved the motorcyclists how brave are they there act was spectacular the whole show from beginning to end was greeted with cheers. The show was packed so we did have limited seats but we sat up the top and had an excellent view.A little bit pricey at £15 for children and £23 for an adult we got ours from the tourist information office i think they maybe slightly cheaper. We went to the afternoon performance and as it was raining kept the children amused for a couple of hours.

Box Office open 1 to 3pm Mon-Fr (during Term Time) The Auden Theatre is an essential hub for the North Norfolk arts circuit. Located in the heart of Gresham’s Senior School grounds, the theatre offers a unique, intimate and versatile space for both school shows and professional performances in a modern and purpose-built facility. A fully-equipped and professionally-run venue, the Theatre hosts a diverse and expansive programme of productions throughout the year, and serves as an important local outlet for visiting artists. It is also one of the main venues for the Holt Festival held every July. The scope and range of productions are truly remarkable, and we regularly host a broad collection of performers from local musical groups to international musicians and theatre companies. Our student-led productions also prove extremely popular, with sizeable and ambitious performances consistently drawing large audiences from the local community.

A Christmas trip to see Hansel & Gretel. Our two small children LOVED this, quite original presentation was superb. Waiting in the foyer we could see numerous examples of puppets, some of them were so simple but the effect was amazing.

What a great night we all had, didn’t know anything about the show and within 20 minutes I thought a standing ovation was coming, all the cast were fantastic and captivated us throughout the performance with Kayi Ushe being outstanding, many thanks.
