Slovenia, wedged between Austria and Italy, has always been proud of its unique heritage. The capital, Ljubljana, is a perfect example of this blend of German, Mediterranean, and Slovenian culture. The old town is a blend of Baroque, Renaissance, and Art Nouveau buildings, watched over by a medieval castle. Cut through the gardens of Tivoli Park to the National Museum of Contemporary History for a history of modern Slovenia, featuring crumbled statues of Stalin and a recreation of a WWI trench.

A hands-on culinary workshop that takes you on a journey through rich Slovenian culinary history along with the most popular traditional dishes.
We loved taking the cooking class Ljubljana. Learning about the Slovenian culture through food was a wonderful experience and the instructor was very friendly. The food was delicious and fun/easy to make, and the good wine/company made it an experience that will not be forgotten. Can't wait to cook these dishes at home.

Ljubljana.info is a project that was launched in 2006. Beside providing practical information for home and foreign visitors it offers very different guided tours and experiences, which are run by the locals only. Our tours are sustainable and personal. We will never reject a bigger group, but we do prefer smaller groups and private tours to be able to take time for you and to give ourselves in.
