My wife and I visited Lindt Chocolate Studio on the 31 January 2019 together with two of my grandchildren. We participated in the Chocolate Fondant Pudding Class, We were most impressed with the professionalism and enthusiasm of the staff. All ingredients had been laid out at our work stations waiting for us to begin. I felt like I was participating in Master Chef Australia, the time went very quickly and we all prepared a Lovely Chocolate Fondant Pudding. My two grandchildren who came with their grandparents cannot stop talking about how they enjoyed themselves. I am looking forward to bringing my grandchildren to another course in the future. In the meantime what about preparing a chocolate and Whisky Tasting course for us men. I promise you that the first course i will fill it up with all of my Whisky drinking buddies. - Alan Levitan

Paul and Emilio have set up the most amazing kitchen in Joburg. The classes are fun, interactive and you leave with a full belly, inspiration and a repertoire of incredible recipes to retry at home. They make you feel at home and are always up for a laugh and willing to accommodate your event. I love the variety of classes offered from Sicilian, Mexican and Indian to Christmas in July and Sunday brunches. Be sure to book quickly as they are immensely popular! Such a fun night out!

Gin School Indaba Hotel

The Gin School Indaba in partnership with Inverroche Distillery is a fun and educational gin distilling experience where participants will learn more about the history and art of making gin. This interactive class teaches basic distilling methods and each “gin lover” will leave with their own 500ml bottle of hand-crafted botanical gin which they have made during the class It’s Gin o’ clock

Have you ever wondered about the origins of gin, how it gets it’s different flavours and smells? I made my own craft bottle last night thanks to the Gin School! Thanks Wayne for all the teaching, patience and wise experience. It was such a fun-filled experience and I am one of the few people that don’t imbibe! I would recommend this experience to anybody ... couples, families and and work colleagues. Really really awesome few hours. They take you the whole process from the ingredients, through the distilling process (yes you get to use your own still and goodies!) to bottling your own with labels! Do it! Great fun had by all ... with the last part being “No, taste mine - it’s the best!” :)))

City Skate Tours

I grew up skateboarding in the inner city of Johannesburg and want to create a more skateboard and pedestrian friendly city! Yes, Johannesburg has a lot of stereotypes but as a skater who grew up in this city, I see it differently - skateboarding, the city and urban spaces can't be separated from each other. Having travelled to pedestrian and skate friendly cities (Berlin, Malmo & Copenhagen) I'm excited to exchange ideas on how we can make my city better for everyone - mostly skaters, haha!

The SA Lippizanners had a Christmas show, showing off these beautiful, agile and majestic horses. These horses are born dark brown/ black and the colour changes as they grow. The horses were paraded in groups and solo with the songs in celebration of Christmas in the background. After the show, the kids were able to feed the horses, buy tack and souvenirs.
