The. Brewery Tap

Love this place, sure you will too! Dog friendly with for me the best pint of real ale in Lymm and a fantastic selection too. Sit in the warmth by the wood burner on a comfortable sofa and unwind. Post Lymm Dam dog walk must. Usually full of friendly likeminded people, which adds to the atmosphere and warmth of the place. What are you waiting for???

This little gem of a bar hidden in the depths of Blakemere Village is excellent. The real ale served here is wonderful. If you get a chance try a phone not of their ChainBreaker.

Absolutely brilliant, welcoming place. They had a great selection of beers, really friendly atmosphere. It's rare to find a drinking establishment that's genuinely down to earth, and makes you feel at home. Made me wish I lived in Crewe!

Bollington Brewing Co. Ltd

Bollington’s always been famous for its pubs, so it was amazing that we’d been without a brewery for 70 years. That all changed in 2008 when we brewed our first beer which became “Bollington Best” and it’s still our most popular selling beer. From small beginnings we’ve tripled in size and brew for our three pubs. We also sell a selection of bottles and boxes.

I went with a few friends for the brewery tour and there were around 30 people in our tour. The owner is a genuine, down to earth guy who explains all the background of when & why he started the brewery. He was very informative and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. We were given at least 3 pints straight from the barrel whilst on the tour. After the tour finished you walk back down the road to the Vale Inn, which is a lovely pub serving all their own ales. A lovely meal followed, which was a brilliant pie by Lord of the Pies (a local pie maker) with chips and mushy peas and a lovely sticky toffee pudding afterwards! It was a very enjoyable night out and I would highly recommend it. Even just a visit to the Vale Inn and sample the lovely beers is a must when in Bollington
