Beautiful Hotel
Reviewed By kreiniMy husband and I spent the week of January 30th to February 6th at this lovely small hotel just a short walk from La Ropa. We have been to Zihuatanejo many times but this was our first at Real de Palma. Everyone from the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant attached to the hotel was fantastic. Our room was very clean and spacious. I loved the atmosphere and the hospitality. We will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Nothing fancy, just perfect. Great little lounge pool Talked with a lot of the guests and there is a lot of them that are repeat guests every year. They love it as well. Will definitely stay again.

Reviewed By barbarasE3045SCNOT at all what was portrayed on line. The pictures are either photoshopped or were taken years ago. NO INTERNET! there is is wifi in the lobby but it does not work well. You have to put your computer on the reception desk to get spotty coverage. There is a chain link fence going around the whole property and when you drive in down a gravel road it looks like Beirut abandoned building cars and tires everywhere. You look at the ocean through a chain fence which doesn't keep anyone out because it is falling down. Many open wires hanging out of outlets and light switches. There is no one that speaks English except 1 wonderful staff named Meemo but he could not be there 24 hours a day. Google translate can't help you if you do not have wifi. There is no swim up bar. For the whole hotel I think there is 3 staff members. it is also in the direct flight path of the airport so in the afternoon jets are flying over your head. Also this is more of a Mexican family resort with kids cartwheeling and cannonballing into the pool next to you. They screamed and screamed until after 1am but because no staff is there after 11 nothing was done. It is also a 20 dollar 20 minute cab ride to Zihuantanejo each way. Do not waste your money. We left after 2 nights even though I pre paid on booking.com and I am still fighting to get my money back.

Reviewed By Maureen MMy daughter and I stayed for 9 Nights, we wished it was longer. We liked the location , very quiet, short walk to La Ropa beach and some restaurants. Also close to the bus stop or taxi stand. we did not find English TV, so we just did without, Noe and staff very nice.

Great Location, Awesome Value, Nice new Pool
Reviewed By George LHad a great time at Villas Ximena. We stayed here for 5 days on our last trip to Zihua and really enjoyed it. The property is kept very clean and they were just inaugurating their new pool. The location is great - less than 5 minutes walking to centro, the beach and the municipal market. Would have given 5 stars if the kitchens were better equipped. They worked great for simple meals but they only have 1 pot and 1 pan and they don;t have blenders. I am a big smoothie guy so I was a little disappointed to not have a blender.

We are an easy 10 minute walk to the central village of Zihuatanejo or an equal distance in the opposite direction to nearby La Ropa beach.Several restaurants and bars are close by to stroll to or order in, as you wish. Highly regarded, Hotel Casa Sun and Moon is Mexican colonial in architecture. It is situated on a breathtaking cliff over the beach. Quiet and private, we have a lovely cliff side swimming pool in a tropical garden setting. A friendly, family atmosphere exudes in this three level hotel setting with wide terraces and expansive views of the bay and mountains.

Reviewed By magoo093We booked and paid ahead but couldn’t stay in this place. This was more a converted storage space than a room. OK if you are a “hobbit “. Do not, I repeat, do not book ahead. They have alternate rooms across the street and you wouldn’t want to stay in them either. Shame on you for even thinking anyone could stay here.

However, by Mexican standards, the Pescador is a little pricey for what you get...a clean room, a lovely view of the beach, and an enormous communal wrap around terrace. Not bad! if that's all you want... I wouldn't likely stay there again b/c of no pool, but......it IS close to everything!

Villas Naomi is a beautiful hotel located with several restaurants near by, just steps from La Madera Beach and a short pleasant 10 minutes walk to downtown of Zihuatanejo. Villas Naomi is a gorgeous hotel with 9 cozy and private suites, that once you know it, surely you will want to return again. It’s just a new life-style in Zihuatanejo you should experience.

Reviewed By HTuckwellWe had a terrace ( Villa Maria ) but all terraces face inward and are close together so conversations and dish noises are easily heard as well as some street noise. The room was very clean, the kitchen not well equipped with utensils ( no sharp knife ) nor spices so if you plan on cooking, bring some basics or you can shop at Mega Soriano which has everything. For a long term stay I would look for a quieter and less expensive spot. All TV stations were Spanish and the king bed was very hard so we did a lot of stretching !

Reviewed By EnviroGirlThere are so many other places to stay where the management cares about your stay. Here, there was very little comfort and barely ANY staff help or care. No utensils, cups, or plates of any kind in the kitchens - had to ask for soap and towels - dance music blasting by 9 am. Property is not well maintained. We left a day early and no one cared or asked why. So many other places to stay, like Portofino, just a few steps away. Dont spend money here, unless youre just looking for a cheap place to party.

Reviewed By Cesar Blow budget, yet clean rooms and food, beach was the best bang for my buck, i will go back again. it has beautiful scenery, tranquil and peaceful, the staff very helpful indeed. remember this was a family outing. in one occasion the hotel was to ourselves. a lonely cat greet us at the entrance of the hotel, it just a family feel to it, with out the hassle of a huge hotel.
