Reviewed By Sergey KA great place!!! Good location in the vicinity of the kremlin, cute-looking from the outside, even better inside. Lobby is arranged with colour photos of early XXth century Vologda (yes, colour - not coloured! Russia knew real colour photographs as early as in 1902!). An old map of Vologda province hanging on the wall by the reception desk. Very friendly staff. Check-in was flawless and swift. No elevators though porter service was readily available. Rooms were spacious, cozy and tidy, furniture was in good condition. There was much more than needed (for a three-star facility) there - bathrobes with the hotel's logo, slippers, three types of towels, disposable toothbrushes, tiny toothpaste tubes, tea and coffee sachets, a kettle, a shoehorn, shoe cleaning napkins and even a toilet air freshener (a rarity in hotels, not only in Russian). The rooms were equipped with bath tubs, by the way, with non-slip bathtub carpets. Water dispensers were available for guests on each flloor. All girls at the reception were not only charming but professional and ready-to-help. They gave us Vologda maps, recommendations as to major sights, provided us with business cards of local guides, told about places to eat and even phoned all the spots we showed interest in (all of them were very good, by the way). On a rainy day big umbrellas with hotel's logo were granted. When we said we needed some of our colthes washed they organized it with vivid pleasure - for ridiculous money! There was a two-year girl among us and they treated her like a princess (small toys, high chair in the breakfast hall, an extra pillow for her in a baby bed in the room, etc.). Breakfast was simple, diverse, tasty and more than sufficient. Some dishes were prepaired at your order "live" - fried eggs, pancakes and syrniki (Russian cottage cheese pancakes). Soundproofing was good though not excellent, madrasses were comfortable. We stayed there for three nights and always had a good night sleep. Housekeeping was also nice. Bravo, Olga & friends! You all are absolutely smashing! Oh, these irresistible Russian ladies! Upon leaving we had a feeling that we were saying goodbye to bosom friends. Strongly recommended!

Reviewed By C-SevenOn staying here you have to remember that you are in the depth of Russia and what would normally be a 2+ star hotel is a 4 star here. They were not used to having people from the West staying however, they tried their best. Their breakfasts were basic but I loved the buckwheat 'porridge'! Rooms and bathrooms were clean.

Small is beautiful
Reviewed By Andrei GThis hotel in the center of Voligda is quite small, but just this feature makes it very cute and comfortable. It is absolutely new and rooms are properly equipped and very clean. Stuff is very polite and friendly and ready to help you in any situation. Breakfast is good, tasty and includes many dishes. It is not buffet, but you can choose from up to five choices. One more attracative feature: hotel has a 13 meters swimming pool for only 200 ₽ (abou 3,2$) per hour. Also they have spa salon, but I did not use it. Location is also very good: it takes not more then 10 minutes to most of this ola city sightseeing places.

Do NOT trust this hotels booking system
Reviewed By fredbloggs110Be VERY cautious when booking this hotel that you don't suffer what I did. I booked the hotel via www.booking.com for 5 nights. I received a confirmation from booking.com. A day later I also received a confirmation email from the hotel. All good you would think. However another day later I then received another email from the hotel cancelling the booking without any explanation although only a day before I'd got an email confirming the booking was accepted. Therefore as a warning, be careful when booking this hotel as confirmation does not necessarally mean Yes, that you actually have a room. The hotel suffers from a poor reservation process and miscommunication between staff. On the good side however and to avoid any more unpleasant surprises, booking.com service staff helped me to re-book another hotel.

Есть кухня, прямо кухня, там можно приготовить обед - ужин, рядом куча магазинов. Есть в номере и чайник, и микровейв, и чай, и сахар. Очень удобные кровати. Тепло. Отличная звукоизоляция. Дистанционное заселение - мы приехали ночью и вообще без проблем. Вообще мы очень довольны тем, как за очень скромные деньги можно найти такой отличный отель. Спасибо!

Предложили завтрак, очень вкусно, мой муж никогда не ел кашу, а приготовленную хозяйкой в горшочках съел всю. Кофе, чай бесплатно. Уютные номера, удобные кровати , горячая вода без перебоев .Мы с мужем отдыхали в люксе, дочь с сыном полулюкс. Тихое место, в то же время не далеко от центра. Удобная парковка для авто. Большой тренажерный зал. Мы получили огромное удовольствие от посещения этого мини отеля и от хозяев.

Отель находится недалеко от центра города, до дома- музея Домик Петра 1 5 минут ходьбы ! Отель чистый , уютный. Номера большые, в номере есть всё необходимое для комфортного проживания.Душ, туалет прямо в номере, всё чисто. За ночь заплатил 700 руб, что сравнительно недорого для центра города. Через дорогу есть Столовая, немного подальше ещё одна столовая, цены приемлемые. Персонал отеля добрый, отзывчивый, общительный. Правда есть одно НО... Территория огорожена железным забором, не очень приятное ощущение за клеткой!
