Rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly and they prepared some of the best food (diner and breakfast) we've had during our 2 weeks stay in Turkey. The location is beautiful as well, overlooking Butterfly Valley. Highly recommended.

We are a family run, relaxed hotel in a garden with parking in protected countryside above the legendary Butterfly Valley in Faralya. We have 10 ensuite rooms, one apart house and one interconnected room– some traditional timber chalets around our swimming pool and a few more stone built in the olive groves. They are modern with wifi access and air conditioning…In summer our dining room is outside on our terrace. We make as much use as possible of our own and local produce to create five course dinners. In winter,spring and autumn we are equipped for walkers who want to trek the famous Lycian Way and admire the wildlife – eagles, storks, even dragonflies and of course butterflies and wonderful fauna. In summer you can just laze around our pool or visit one of the five spectacular beaches nearby or go shopping in Fethiye. Our sunsets are spectacular. And being higher up the air is cooler than in the bottom of the valley where temperatures will be well over 30 degrees.We can also arrange boat trips and other excursions if you want to explore this historic and undiscovered part of the world. Some people call it paradise. Well, we like it anyway...Visit us and it will be our pleasure to show you why.

Pool area absolutely stunning and half board food quality just lovely. The team are so friendly, helpful and polite and genuinely want you to have the best experience. This is without doubt one of my favourite places and I will return.

Avoid! Outrageous value for money and horrible service

When I arrived in the evening I was told that the room I booked is the last left and it was in the cellar below the kitchen (B2) with the windows opening to a trash place outside. It was old, dirty, smelly (from the kitchen) and noisy (noise from the kitchen and from the water sewage outside). The shower was very old and dirty. When I asked to changed the room as it’s outrageous for this price, I was told by the hotel manager that it was the room I booked! I come regularly to Turkey, stayed in a lot of hotels but for 70 EUR to have such a place which should be max 10 EUR! So I would recommend to avoid this place (though some rooms are supposedly nice but you never know what you will get).

Reviewed By Nita KWe found Casa Roja through a friend. At first we just wanted to spend a couple of nights there but decided to spend a whole week. The price is for half board and the propreitor cooks up a storm for breakfast and dinner. The meals are traditional Turkish, sumptuous and delicious. The dining area is the main terrace of the hotel and we ate our lavish meals overlooking the sea with views all the way to Rhodos. Spectacular sunsets as the place faces South/West. Our room/bungalow was equipped with wi-fi and again a wonderful view of the sea. Simple but extremely clean. Although without TV, telephone or hair dryer (you don't really need it at the time we were there). We had a large balcony fitted with sofas, and of course the view. The property is in a very quiet spot, so if you are looking for a place away from the madding crowd, which you find all along the coast, you are in the absolutely right spot. Shady olive garden, with day beds and sitting areas, pine-tree forests and a 10 minute walk to probably the quietest access to the sea in the region. Lovely crystal-clear, amazingly aquamarine sea at Aktas Beach with a restaurant run by Fatih who'll serve a barbequed catch-of-the-day with salads and chilled beer or whatever. View again amazing. Solitude and peace. Selma and Mehmet spoilt us right through the week. Service was friendly in a family-like atmosphere. We were lucky to be the only ones there as the place was booked out before and after we left! They are both most willing to help out with anything including driving you down to the beach (we prefered to walk the 10 minutes down and 15 minutes up). The area is also very good for walking and trekking, exploring the region on foot.

The Lazy Lizard is a family run Hotel, 3000m² of lush beauty and nature. We grow oranges, lemons, figs, peaches, apricots, pomegranates, grapes and various vegetables; you may pick whatever is ripe. There is a beautiful Yoga shala for your exercises and also yoga props at your disposal. Hammoks and shady corners guarantee quiet areas for your relaxation. We have built with natural stone and a lot of cedar wood trying to avoid as much as possible all that is not natural. On the premises we run a garden restaurant, trying to live a sustainable and "green" tourism bearing in mind ecological aspects by avoiding wrapping whenever possible, so let us spoil you with our various dishes. The various beaches are 15-30 minutes away and, given that we live on the premises, we can help you with your guided hikes on the Lykian Way behind us or with boat trips and Paragliding.

Reviewed By talahalawaThe place is just charming and breathtaking. We didn’t stay there but we had a yoga class and breakfast and it was a superb experience. The staff is super nice and prices are so fair. The nature there is just indescribable.
