For children, there are play areas both inside the restaurant and outside. There is a wild-life park with approximately 250 animals on the Kleefeld estate and many walking trails meander around the grounds. Something for everyone.....plenty of space for children to play, with swings & a 3D spiders web for the climbing frame, plus all the animals, walks of various lengths & challenges & all terrain biking. Five minutes drive away is Strobl for bike hire, water sports & two spacious lake freibads for swimming - very popular, and all the amenities of Wolfgangsee. Day trips to Salzburg & Hallstadt with it's salt mine, were great hits too. Kleefeld is traditional Austria and has the most amazing views whichever room you have...up the mountain valley with its peaks, countryside views towards Strobl, views over the large deer paddock & other enclosures. Our room was spotless and comfortable in the original part of the Gasthof, however the bathroom was a bit tired & could do with updating. That said, we had the most spectacular views. The food is fresh, varied & excellent, pleasing the children as well, especially the copious breakfast buffet. The staff are all very friendly & helpful. Thank you all at Kleefeld for a great holiday.

The apartments are large and very well furnitured, ideal for a family with children and the double rooms are new and well furnitured as well, all with balcony and a splendid view on the mountains, There is a kitchen for the rooms to be shared with the other guests of the house and for this it all depends on the politeness, cleanness, respect and so on of the people you share the space with. It's well organized with lots of amenities for children. The house owners are very friendly and helpful

Reviewed By KarelN30Perfect location with a view on the lake, nice room, good breakfast, very nice restaurant with very good food and great service, I have really enjoyed restaurant in the front side of the hotel where you can also find a nice bar. Most of the time there was no one at the reception, usually we had to wait for someone over ten minutes. When I had a problem to enter the sauna I waited over 30 minutes and nobody was able to help, so I just gave up...parking is approximately 200 meters from the hotel and sauna is 250 meters far from the hotel in separate hotel or apartment

They just want your money
Reviewed By jordij2016The place is clean, room was comfortable but expect no service whatsoever if that means extra work for them or not being able to charge what you originally should have payed. Breakfast was slim, if you arrive late there won’t be any choice of bread. The smell of the kitchen climbs all the way up the stairs. Once and never again.

A very decent country side hotel
Reviewed By Thomas PThe Wiesenhof a very decent family run hotel close by the lake Wolfgangsee. It has large and well maintained rooms - the family room was very generously sized. The breakfast is was excellent, as well as the lunch and dinner service. Real great type down to earth food ("Hausmannskost"), but also vegeratian dishes. I highly recomend the deleicious and lean horse steak. The family and all the staff were very fiendly and helpful at all times. Kids friendly and great to stay.

Reviewed By JAKAS5We have now stayed twice in the holiday house at Pension Kasberger. Once in summer 2010 and again in July 2012. On both occasions we were delighted with the standard of comfort and cleanliness of the accommodation. The house is in a perfect location for a family holiday or a holiday as a couple or with friends. Fantastic, and we can highly recommend it! There are also lots of shops and excellent places to eat within walking distance, plus walking, watersport activities and cycle hire etc- the location couldn't be better.

Schön mit gutem Essen aber wenig inklusive und teils schlechtem Service
Reviewed By 413geriEs ist traurig das in einem Hotel für ein weiches Frühstücksei 2,10 Euro und für 2 Stück Spiegelei 6,10 Euro extra berechnet werden. Das servierte Essen ist schmackhaft das Salatbuffet ist eine Frechheit und lieblos. Ganze Karotten und Radieschen nichts aufgeschnitten sehr wenig. Ist z.B der in 3 Wochen nur einmal vorhandene Fetakäse leer gibt es einfach keinen mehr. Frühstücksbuffet ebenso wenig Abwechslung. Die Sauna und das Schwimmbad sind bei einem Kuraufenthalt extra zu bezahlen aber derzeit ist die Sauna wegen Covid ganz geschlossen. Für den hoteleigenen Strand werden 35 Euro extra fällig. Die Trinkgläser im Zimmer wurden 3 Wochen nicht gewechselt habs dann nach 1 Woche als ich durch das Glas nicht mehr durchsah selbst gemacht. Die Putzfrau hat das Glas jedoch gesehen da es nach der Reinigung umgestellt war. Die Seife wurde trotz COVID nicht erneuert. Wem in 3 Wochen ein Stück zu wenig ist hat halt die letzten Tage keine Seife. Die für die Putzfrau leer ins Waschbecken gelegte Schale wurde leer wieder an den PLatz zurückgestellt. Positiv kann ich das servierte Essen bewerten welches sehr gut ist und ansprechend angerichtet ist. Die therapeutische Betreuung ist sehr gut. Ich würde aber dieses Hotel weder zahlenden noch Kurgästen weiterempfehlen. Positiv ist natürlich die Lage des Hotels. Die Betreiber sollten sich an den Serviceleistungen anderer Kurhotels orientieren und Ihr Konzept überdenken.
