Reviewed By OssimanThis resort has been very well designed and developed. The rooms are basic with white stained wooden doors and an adobe finish but they are very comfortable. The eco-friendly credentials are certainly in evidence. The beach is picturesque but largely unswimmable although the pool is clean and beautifully located. The food is very good with 'specials' every night and a trick is to ask for a special dish like steamed fish - in my case perfectly delivered the next night. The only alcohol available is Bintang beer and taking your own beverage like gin worked well for an evening tipple! The resort can be crowded at weekends when the Singaporians visit but during the week it was quiet and very relaxing. The SPA is very good and the staff right across the board were helpful, attentive and courteous. A nice quiet out-of-the-way haven!

TV is clear and keeps the kids entertained. Bed is clean. You can take a short walk to the shop lots behind the hotel for late night supper.

Strategic place to enjoy complete business staycation in town
Reviewed By 868adipI attend a training session held in Biz Hotel from 22-27 February 2021. This was my first time in this hotel. I stayed from 24-27/Feb (4D 3N) in Room 708, superior room with twin single bed for 2 pax. First impression was good, clean, continously maintained. All furnitures, bed, curtain were clean. There is saving box (which not working) but it does not matter. I can see straight to Four Season Hotel, Jodoh. I observed this hotel using famous name for the functions room... unique ! We had breakfast on the 11th floor, which is very good place especially at night where we can enjoy perfect view of Nagoya-Jodoh area. Foods served simple, but tasty (Coffee, tea, eggs, and toast etc) This is the strong point. The hotel located just in front of Nagoya Food court, and it's another strong point. During the pandemi, I am sure the hotel also suffering with room occupation issue, but i notice all the staff are kind, polite, and friendly... The receptionist (cute, average height female with glasses), and On Job Training high school student, Maria (from Flores) at 11th floor were also communicative and nice. Continue your overall good working...!

Reviewed By narno87saya awalnya mencari hotel yang murah saja di batam, karna saya baru tiba dari singapura dan kapal menuju Tanjung pinang sudah tidak ada. awalnya sedikit skeptis dengan hotel ini, karna harga nya murah tapi saat masuk ke kamar, kamar tidak luas tapi tidak terlalu sempit, bersih, nyaman dan melebihi ekspektasi saya. mungkin nanti kalau transit lagi, saya akan langsung menginap di hotel ini kembali.

You will find nice, spacious and clean rooms, very kind and helpful staff and good food. So go for it and enjoy. We will definitely come back.

Reviewed By Xanice CRoom is spacious with balcony. Staff is friendly. However, instruction was not given clearly upon check in,resulting missed breakfast on the following day of stay. Managed to get the set of breakfast on third day . Breakfast is yummy. Found stain on its pillow and quilt cover. While massaging at the massage outlet in the hotel, I had bitten by the mosquito. Noisy at its centre. However, massage staff is amiciable, help to apply lotion onto my mosquito bites. Anyway, location of the hotel is very convenient and walking distance from the newly Bayfront ferry terminal.

Probably the best spa/massage option at Tj Balai
Reviewed By invisible999This is the review not about hotel/rooms but rather the spa/massage facility at the second floor. Now, at Tanjung Balai you _can_ get 1h body massage at local shops for something like 60K IDR, but I would not advise you to do it, because professionalism of local masseuses is very low, let's speak honestly - non existent. Now at Maximilian 1h body massage would cost twice as much but at least you probably will get the best (corrected to the localion) quality in the whole island. If you go with the traditional Indonesian massage, Maximillian's masseuses do know their business quite well and you won't be disappointed. A separate note - I am not a big proponent giving tips to service personal but considering the price (120K IDR per hour) and the fact that masseuse will only get fraction of that rate, if you've been satisfied with the result, give some money to them. They deserved it. Additional plus - you can pay for the massage/spa with a credit card at hotel's lobby.

Walaupun berada di pinggir jalan namun kami dapat beristirahat dengan nyaman. Kamar cukup bersih dan luas. AC berfungsi dengan baik. TVnya juga baik dengan beberapa pilihan chanel untuk menemani istirahat kami setelah perjalanan panjang dan melelahkan dari Kuala Namu. Kamar mandi bersih, tersedia shower dan bathup lengkap dengan shower dan air panas/dinginnya. Mungkin jenis air di sana lain sehingga ketika mandi agak sulit untuk menghilangkan sabunnya, rasanya badan licin terus. Sarapan sederhana hanya nasi putih, kerupuk, mie goreng, ikan teri dan telor balado namun rasanya enak. Welcome drinknya adalah jus. Harga pas di kantong. Petugas FOnya juga ramah dan cekatan.

Good Hotel near Batam's Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal
Reviewed By KimchuanSGThis hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Harbour Bay Batam Ferry Terminal. We arrived much earlier than the 2 pm check-in time and was pleasantly surprised to be allowed to take our deluxe room as it was ready. The room was huge with a king-sized bed. The toilet was equally spacious; best was it has a shower screen instead of the usual bathtub in most hotel toilets (which no one uses anyway for hygiene reasons). This reduces the risk of falls climbing in and out of a slippery bathtub. The room and the toilet were very clean. All staff we encountered throughout our stay were very courteous, helpful and responsive to our requests. You can see them multi-tasking and working hard to help each other. I would not be surprised if I see this in Japan but was pleasantly surprised to see this kind of co-operation in a Batam hotel. Well-done! Breakfast was very good. Variety of food may be lesser but almost all the food items were tasty. I must compliment the staff at the egg station as he bothered to go around asking guests if they wanted omelettes. I have stayed at another Batam hotel recently which provided more variety but the food quality was very bad. This hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and fro BCS Mall/Grand Mall and Nagoya Hill Mall at designated timings. It is within walking distance to the Kelong seafood restaurants and Harbour Bay seafood restaurant. They only open for dinner at around 7 pm.

Friendly staff and very accomodating. Not much selection on the Menu but can request on simple dish - no guarantee. Sun lounger by the pool, enjoy the wind from the afternoon walk for that 800 meters long bridge owned by the resort?. Loving the atmos at night, the peace in the quietness accompany by some drinks?. Is indeed a great place, especially those looking for more quality time and escaping from the business of city's life?
