Dropped the Ball
Reviewed By T SCheck-in was handled poorly. We did not meet Jan until the second night at which time we were checked in. We had to get all pertinent information from other guests upon arrival. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure and the room was clean. Location was close to town and supermarkets. Fifteen minute walk from the train station. The biggest drawback was that the temperature in the room was "miserably" hot. There was no circulation of outside air due to the location of the room. The crisp cool night air never made it into our room even with the window open 24/7. A fan would have made a big difference. Definitely cannot recommend this place and would not stay here again.

Perfect place with a dog
Reviewed By Zsófia BNice,helpful stuff, our check in was pretty easy. Hike to the hotel took 2 hours,but it was easy to find. Restaurant offered great, local food. Room,bed was cosy and clean. Our dog felt also comfortable there. The view was amazing from the room, and the hotel has a unique location and offers great hiking opportunities during the whole year.

Reviewed By Gary VThe restaurant is very warm and friendly, with a rustic charm. You almost feel like you're in someone's home. It was a cold, snowy December night when we visited, and the fireplace was nice for ambience and warmth. My traveling companion is from Slovakia, and she chose one of the specials, sauerbraten served with steamed bread. I had a hearty bean and sausage soup, fried pork tenderloin (similar to schnitzel) with sweet potato fries. We both had hot tea to drink. The food was delicious, authentic and reasonably priced.

Reviewed By Nomad580655You must stay at this hotel; it’s absolutely wonderful! The staff and owner are the best. They are so friendly and go out of their way to help anyway they can. Amazing food at the bistro and the modern decor is fabulous. The rooms are so clean and well kept. It’s an easy 15 min walk from the bus and train station. Just stay here, it will make your trip complete. Ďakujem Hotel & Bistro 63! ?

A great family run place

Though just outside the centre of town, there is an easy and beautiful walking path to the town. Its a family run place and couldn't be more charming and lovely. The check in was handled well and we were cozily ensconced in our rooms in short time. The rooms are simple, sparkling clean and very comfortable. There is a small balcony from which terrific views of the mountains are available if the fog didn't cloud most of our visit!!! Beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is convenient with enough space - one doesn't knock over things in a bid to shower! They provide a hair and body wash which smelled delightful and kept the bathroom smelling good. Enough storage - shelf wise if you are staying a few days, which we did. The rooms also have a TV and wifi was excellent. There is a nice lounge/ sitting area outside the rooms where you can sit and read. As with many places in Slovakia, there place is super child friendly, which as good as it might get noisy if the children played outside the rooms and you want to sleep! The restaurant/ dining area primarily is for breakfast. They do not provide other meals but do provide delicious deserts/ pastry with a variety of hot drinks when you want it (at extra charge). They also have a good bar that you can choose to hang out at. The dining area also has a nice sitting area with a terrific view when not foggy (we were plagued with the fog through most of 3 days unfortunately). The breakfast is excellent and the scrambled eggs are to die for. Mother and daughter hold the flag flying high and the food served is just fantastic. Overall, we had a great stay here and would highly recommend it. It was unfortunate that we could not do much hiking , the primary purpose of our trip, due to very heavy fog and rain. But given pension please was so good, we didn't mind the relaxation and rest. There is a jacuzzi/ spa that one of our group used and highly recommended it. The family members are friendly and their dog Alex added to the warmth of the place.

We have twin rooms available and twin rooms with an option of extra bed. We are also able to provide baby cot if you request it. The price does include half board. Breakfast are served buffet style. Reviewed By zhoolikWe’ve stayed twice here. Great location outside of a village. Beautiful views. The Doyles are helpful and warm hosts. It’s a new and crisp wooden pension. They have plans to expand with other amenities. There is a trail leading to the elevated wooden walkway and tower on the peak. The trail is a 55 minute and 900 ft climb that even children can make to the Chodnik.

Great value for the price
Reviewed By Marianna173Right in the heart of lovely Presov center, yet my apartment was quiet. I stayed for 1 night right at the start of ice hockey championship. I was very pleased with the warm welcome at the reception, the next morning breakfast was simple but freshly made and very sufficient for me (not a morning person). If you crave more hearty start of the day, I’m sure the main street will provide. I especially appreciated free safe parking on the premises.

We offer you nice and comfortable furnished rooms with a unique view of the valley, a great home cooking, a sauna with cooling outside in the snow and a friendly staff always with good advice waits here for you. Reviewed By scoutdoccoThe room was large, the food tasty, wellness was relax, single malt Irish and Pilsner in the bar, what other do you need in a rainy november Saturday after a tour in High Tatras? Very nice staff? You get it! I recommend this place to everybody. If you don't like noisy wooden construction floors, don't go there, but I think, it's the spirit of mountain hotels.
