Great place to stay in Makassar
Reviewed By Sean HWe stayed at Ge JacMart a few weeks ago, because we read from others that the owner if Torajan and we thought perhaps she could help us in getting to Tana Toraja. Marlah and her husband own this homestay and it is wonderful. We didn't meet him because he was in Toraja when we were there, but Marlah is so friendly, speaks pretty functional English and was so very helpful. The homestay is clean and convenient. She serves a nice breakfast. And, she has family in Tana Toraja and helped to connect us to them for a place to stay (we stayed there one night and then moved, because it was not as nice as hers in Makassar) and a relative who spent a few days guiding us. We then stayed another night at Ge JacMart on our return to Makassar before leaving Sulawesi. We highly recommend this homestay.

Reviewed By Iqbal RI stayed here one night last february. I booked two rooms. My rooms was okay. But the other room, the AC didnt work properly. So we finally moved to other rooms. Amenities and toiletries are complete in the room. But there is no phone in the room. There is only one phone in every floors located near the elevator. The breakfast is so so.. But i cant expect more for hotel with this price. :D

Best hotel in limited budget
Reviewed By Kartika Nur FThis hotel located strategically near Fort Rotterdam, Losari beach, and several the most favourite resto in town such as New Dinar, Coto Nusantara and RM Bravo. The room itself is very clean, neat, large, comfortable, and not noisy. The tv has several international channels, but wifi signal is bad. The breakfast is so so, just average. Unfortunately someone stole my helmet in park area during my stay, but hotel staff replace it and I appreciate that. I'll definitely will stay in this hotel in my next trip in Makassar.

Reviewed By B4YULobby is good, like it. Along the corridor is nice painting decoration. Room is wide, but the bathroom is not clean enough. My room is in the left corner on the lobby level near corner garden. Once I open the door some flying object come in to the room. Need to go up to get b'fast. For this class hotel, the b'fast is not bed. But there was no one staff over there, so we ate just like at home, get everything by our self.

Luxurious and Afforable Stay!

The hotel had just opened and was very clean, modern and luxurious - Upon arrival, we were offered welcome drinks and shown to our rooms. The staff were very nice and communicated in both Indonesian and English. The rooms were very comfortable with excellent bedding and clean bathrooms. Wifi and restaurant were excellent ! LOCATION : The location is great as it was close to the Pannakukang Mall and easy to meet friends and family as they could comfortably meet us in the large lobby area, or pick us up from the large front entrance area. You can also order taxi's from front desk. STAFF : I felt really welcome at this hotel especially because I was unwell during my travels and they easily accomodated me and tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. With breakfast I had special requests such as extra hot waters and soup for my medication and they happily delivered these for me. Their extra care really made us feel welcome ! DINING : The hotel has a restaurant on one of the top floors. It was really convenient for when we didn't eat out as it was so close. Western and Indonesian meals were both excellent, staff in restaurant very friendly too. The Breakfast included in our room was nice and they delivered it as room service for us each morning. You can choose Indonesian or western option for this. Overall, I would definetly reccomend this hotel for travellers in Makassar! It is very comfortable and luxurios for the affordable price you pay. Location is great and they helped us to organise our taxi to the airport when we left :)

Nice and comfy, but the cleaning service...
Reviewed By Sunshine55306035448Hotel staff should be knocking on the door telling me they want to clean the room, but this isn't, and this is quite disturbing while I sleep. As guests, we must carefully put up a "Do Not Disturb" sign, so that they stop doing it (knock on the door). In addition, the room is not soundproof, even though I booked a deluxe room. Cold AC, unfortunately noisy. The rest is quite satisfying, the rooms are comfortable, the wifi is fast, and finally the toilet is quite clean, there is also a warm shower ??

Good hotel for the value but not good staff.

But the staff does not speak English and are not serious about their work. They show you a room, and give you another one. Give you the wrong key...make mistakes with the numbers of the room. Forget to give you informations you asked. Spend their time playing with their telephone while you are waiting at the counter. Too bad, it could be an excellent hotel...

Reviewed By evert29For a very cheap hotel, this is very nice, clean, very modern and located right at the very center of the city apart from it's small size room, but its cheap anyway (IDR120.000/$9). If you're on a tight budget, this would be a very perfect place to stay, and by the way the staffs are very accomodating.

Cheap, friendly and comfortable
Reviewed By Mark VPlanet Bali (or Bali hotel) is cosy little hotel close to the centrum of Makassar. Rooms were spacious and clean with working A/C and satellite TV, receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful, assisting us in booking Toraja bus tickets and price is definitely ok for the quality. Only negative thing is that there are many mosques closeby and soundproof is not very good in windows, meaning every morning we woke up when morning prayers were sung through several loudspeakers.
