Really simple and not cheap

The employees didn't help w/ the luggage and in the announcement the website were offering breakfast and when I arrived there I was informed that because of the COVID they couldn't do it.

Reviewed By sharondam834DO NOT BOOK HERE! First of all you have to climb only about 50 stairs to reach your room. He says “shared” bath room but I quickly learned it meant sharing the bathroom and kitchen with his family. The water wasn’t working for a whole day and the next day barely and the water was cold. Can you imagine not being able to bathe when you want or washing your hand when you go to the bathroom. No AC so prepare for the heat. Waken up every morning by noise because we share everything with his family. With everything that’s going on with going so long without water, finding out it’s a crime to use the fridge, no ac, and the noise I had to check out early. Courtney lied to the company I booked through and said everything was okay even though I showed prove. He refuse to refund me for the days I had left. I literally only left because of his inconveniences. I spend more money and got somewhere much nicer. Please don’t waste your time. This isn’t a hotel. This is a place that he’s lending you some of his rooms because his family lives there. I will never in my life come back or recommend it!!

Reviewed By bernard GEscape the hot, wet and noisy bottom of the city ! Only 20mn by taxi from the airport , the Jennifer and Tony's B&B was for me a restful retreat in this fresh foothills. These hosts are so kind and honest . Rooms are clean. The roof, on which you are allowed to claim, is full of exotic flowers. Breakfast is wonderful.

Reviewed By Mandi PI stayed at this house with my husband and my 1 year old for a couple nights while staying in Kingston. The owner is very sweet and makes you feel right at home. You can tell the place is kept clean. I would recommend it to anyone she has different rooms that fit your needs. And the location is very central you can walk to a lot of places.

Wonderful location, lack luster 'hotel'
Reviewed By Jane BFirstly, they need to stop calling this a resort and spa. They need to understand what they have. It's a fantastic location for a basic backpackers hostel. Checked it out for one night as was going to bring in a group of friends but told them not to come. Outside near the church there was garbage all over the street and garbage in the surrounding gardens, mis mash of old tired furniture and useless objects lying around the land in in the rooms. Its very sad as the location and the bird life is wonderful. The room quality and poor wifi even in the top priced room was depressing. Old bedding, tired shabby furniture. It was clean just very drab and incredibly over priced. For one night i paid more than i paid in Kingston for high end hotel room. Everything needs to be ripped out. Fresh basic furniture, new bedding and simple rooms and the focus on birding. When folks check in why not greet them as they pull up in the vehicles, why not show them maps of some nice hike trails, why not give them some xerox sheets of the various birds you can see, why not have bird feeders outside all guests windows and seats placed throughout the grounds to sit and watch birds.... but most of all clean up the litter on the property toss out the scruffy broken items around the yard. Get the church over the road to clean the street too while you're at it.... such a wasted opportunity. New management and staff training and an understanding of what their brand is. It's not strawberry hill, it's a very tired back packer hostel robbing you with their prices. Hope there's change here as the location and building are great as were the local birds.

Good start to holiday
Reviewed By ValRiyahTashOur trip to Jamaica had us spending time in different parishes of Jamaica. Travelled into Kingston and spent night at the Sunset Inn before travelling onto Montego Bay. Really nice bed and breakfast with the most helpful staff. Didn't have a mobile to make bookings but staff did this all for us, contacting coach company to make our booking for onward travel. Ordering a taxi to take us to coach company. The room was spacious and suitable for the one night we stayed. Bathroom had good hot water. The grounds of the hotel were really nice and well kept. All in all a really nice start to our holiday. Would definitely stay here again if I needed an overnight stay in Kingston.

Reviewed By Roam43765Was there for 3 days and really liked it. It’s of the traditional tourist circuit and that what makes it special. Up in the hills, it’s surrounded by beautiful nature and flowers. Michelle, the owner, was very helping in booking transportation for me. I recommend.

B&B with the best view of Jamaica
Reviewed By Nestor ZMy wife I went to the Hill Top Jamaica Bed & Breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and the service was very delightful. We found the proximity to other places like restaurants and shops was convenient. Leaving the hustle and bustle of bigger resorts this cozy B&B is great. Cannot say enough about the views! If you have the option or feel like trying something out of the usual big hotels definitely check out the Hill Top Kingston Jamaica B&B.
