Reviewed By Louapril83Booked a table to get a feel for the River Bank as a possible wedding venue. When we arrived after a 45 minute drive a member of staff showed us to a table that was behind a door. I understand with outdoor dining businesses are trying to accommodate everyone. So when I asked a female member of staff had they another free table she turned around & shouted to a member of staff in front of 9 other customers that ‘WE DIDN’T LIKE THE TABLE’ We couldn’t believe it & other customers looking at us. We were so close to leaving but as we had drove up & very hungry proceeded to order. Our food arrived & was lovely. The female member of staff then proceeded to asking all the tables around us if there meal was ok & if needed anything else while ignored us.

Reviewed By Darryl BWe found this B&B to be a beautiful hidden gem. Beatifully located with calming views of green Irish hills. The owner/operator Nollen was AMAZING. Such a wonderful host and woman. Extremley helpful in regards to the area, dinner reservations, walking tours and directions. This B&B was so quite and relaxiing with the lovely sound of the water fountain to calm you in the evening. Now for the breakfast. The breakfast was lovely, ticked everyones boxes for everyone in our party. It was a proper fry up but extremely tasty and healthy. Beautiful home and the gardens are so worth taking time to gaze through. Were actually looking forward to a revisit. There were covid measures fully in place but due to being the only guest at this time and everyone being fully vacinated it felt very normal and relaxing. Thank you very much Noeleen.

Reviewed By Ciaran NStayed here as I was training locally great position within walking distance of Monaghan town. The rooms are perfect and the breakfast is great, Trudy is so nice and welcoming and great for a chat. Defo would recommend this place.

This bespoke home is large, bright airy with high end luxury fittings, beds, and great art collection. All the rooms are spacious.. Just over one mile from Monaghan town. Kitchen, dining, sun lounge, green room and TV room. Also laundry room. four large bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Reviewed By Darryl BOur experience with Lynster Houise was utterly amazing. From the host, decor, food, vibe and comfort. The first impression that hits you is just how beautiful this place is. It"s so well manicured, beautiful colors and decor. Then you meet the host. Beautiful lady with a very welcoming presence. Although it's her home, she totally makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. The rooms are just STUNNING. So warm, comfortable and so home like. Elizabeth is so kind, warm, exciting and such and intriguing indiviual that there is NEVER a dull moment in her home. The food. Jesus she can cook and she is so creative. I love cooking but she takes cooking to a much higher level. Another major PLUS for us was the fact she was Dog friendly. Our dog Louis loved her and felt so spoiled while there. Regarding dogs please make sure you have a well behaved house dog. Lynster house inside is beautiful, well decorated and consist of beautiful carpet in many of the rooms. We are so happy to find such a gem in Monaghan and cant waiti to return. Our stay was my wife and our dog and my mother in law and i must confess, we ALL had an amazing experience. Elizabeth is the driving force behind "Mad about Monaghan" and its superbly clear why she is the driving force behind such a beautiful project. I read some complained about the location. We foundthe location excellent. No it's not city center but its beauty is in the fact it's in an area that's beautifully quite. You want city it's a wopping six mins drive.

Reviewed By fionasC4339ALHad the delight of attending a Hens party here on Saturday night . Food was fab and so was the cocktail making session. The staff were extremely friendly as was the manager Patrick . Will certainly be paying another visit to this hotel .

Reviewed By Don MMy son and I spent last the night at this cozy B&B. It was very comfortable and well situated for us on our journey. The host family couldn’t be nicer and the breakfast was more than we could ask for. We would stay here again if we passed thru town again...
