We were well looked after from the moment our stay was booked until after we left. The Hotelier assisted with transport to and from Tangier, and called us on our return journey to Tangier to be sure we were happy. When traveling to this amazing Moroccan city, stay here!

Besides, the owner is friendly and helps out wherever he can. The room itself offers comfort. Yet, the amenities of the bathroom could be improved in my opinion. My rating would be a 4.5 instead of 5 if TripAdvisor would allow it.

We had dinner served on the roof on our last night here that was probably the best lemon chicken tagine of our whole trip. Casa La Palma is a charming Maison D'Hotes located at the very top of the ancient Medina of Chefchaouen, just few minutes walking from the main square, Outa El- Hamman. The house (inaugurated in July, 2007)is completely renovated and consists of 5 bedrooms (all with bathroom), lounge, kitchen and two terraces on different levels from which to enjoy a wonderful view or sunbathing while having breakfast in the natural products of the area. Reviewed By 459juddkThis place was charming and very tranquil — done up in a traditional Moroccan style in a lovely part of the old city. The breakfast was very good and can be eaten on the roof with a fantastic view of pretty much the entirety of Chefchaouen and the surrounding valleys. The staff at this hotel is quite possibly the nicest I've had anywhere. Apart from carrying my heavy bags from the city gate (which, fair warning, is a bit of a walk up and down several stairs - as is everything in this city) to the hotel (then back when I checked out), the desk clerk arranged for a car to take me about an hour and a half away to see the shrine of Sidi Abdesselam. Beyond that, he took me personally downtown to a tailor shop so I could get some pants tailored — something above and beyond anything that could conceivably be in his job description. And he did everything with a smile on his face and without ever making me feel like I was inconveniencing him. The only thing to be aware of is that Chefchaouen is built along a giant hill, and this hotel is pretty close to the top of it - so be ready to do a bit of walking going to and from the main parts of the city which are mostly down the hill. On the plus side, the location is really much more in an authentically old neighborhood of town rather than an area where you're likely to mostly run into tourists (or people trying to sell you things...) -it feels alive and real, which is nice. This hotel is an excellent choice!

Reviewed By laceystravels90The room and the view was impeccable. the rooms were also tidy and the cleaners were always around if anything was needed . It is a great place to relax in with a view of the mountains nearby . I however experienced very bad service from the head of the place at the time . She was a women that had no respect and doesn't understand the concept of manners . As of someone that has experienced the importance of customer service - I have never been treated like this before. The lady was soo arrogant and even told us to leave the hotel late at night if we did not like her service . This is something no one working in hospitality should say and is just not correct . The following day all the hotel guest were complaining at her late night shouting and therefore decided to say I will call the police on all of you . she did not respect us as guests and was very unprofessional and impolite . I forgot the lady's name but as of the time she was the head of the place - she mentioned her studying in Marrakesh - hope this is found useful to narrow her down . I can confirm the hotel was not full at the time due to COVID and all the guests left unhappy due to her lack of hospitality. I do not tend to write bad reviews but this one is needed so she can understand her mistake . apart from this I found no problems with any of the other workers in the hotel

Great stay with small dog
Reviewed By Happily-WandersWe had such a wonderful stay at Villa Rita. We particularly appreciated how they accommodated our small dog. The daily breakfast was delicious, and we found it very convenient and tasty to eat dinner at the guesthouse a couple nights. Osama was extremely helpful and attentive and directly contributed to us having a great stay. The guesthouse is a ten minute drive from the Chefchaouen city center, so it’s a particularly good place to stay if you have a car. It was quiet with plenty of space for us to walk our little dog and seemed like a good place for families. Thoroughly recommend.

Perfect riad for a place like chefchouen!
Reviewed By nasraaah2019I was already in awe of the chefchaouen when i arrived from fez, it is a city that continues to surprise me and it's beauty increases every day! i stayed in chefchaouen for 1 day and 1 night and riad zman was the best choice by far. It's a few minutes walk away from the main square and it's highly unlikely to ever get lost since you just have to walk up the hill of streets and down again. The riad was beautiful very simple room, but very clean and had a fridge!! so you can put drinks in. Air con present for those hot nights in chefchaouen. The manager and staff were friendly and kind always willing to help us and make us feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing as well you get a beautiful view of chefchaouen and the beautiful mountains. The people are amazing, the locals are so kind and full of stories.! they're also very helpful. Food is relatively cheap and walking is the best to get by !!! will definitely come back to chefchaouen and will definitely stay it! this place is memorable and will definitely come back to stay and dar zman.
