We arrived at this spectacular property at around 3pm. We had a very warm welcome and was showed to our room. It was beautiful. A big, open bathroom. A spacious and charming bedroom, with views across the canal and with our own little terrace!! On the second day we came back to the most divine chocolate cake we’ve ever had and even had two complimentary beers in our little fridge! Both mornings we experienced a relaxed breakfast experience in a gorgeous room next to our bedroom and had delicious food! Little bruschetta, scrambled eggs and crispy bacon and a variety of fruit, yogurts and pastries. Our whole stay was perfect and we will definitely be back. Could not fault one thing. Thank you for having us! Maria and Tom

Only a short walk to the city center, on a great location on a calm residential area. The owner that welcomed us was super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and nice, maybe just a little bit sterile (could use a bit more warm decoration). The breakfast is a-ma-zing! Top, one of the best breakfasts I have ever had on a B&B.

Stay here in Bruges, we loved it

We just got back from our trip last week, we stayed in the Cinnamon suite. We loved it. The couple running it were super sweet and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and served in a really lovely way. Our suite was really nice, spacious and clean. Everything worked really well. All of the email communication before arriving was great, and they were very helpful with everything once there. From start to finish, just a great experience. We've never stayed in a B&B before when traveling overseas and we're going to start doing it more often, we really enjoyed it. The location was nice too, it was a short enough walk to everything that you're really close but not so close that it's noisy at night or anything like that. The walk to the train station wasn't bad at all, maybe 15 minutes or so I think. Overall, can't recommend it enough. If you're considering this place and others, don't hesitate. You won't regret staying here.

Tucked away from the main streets you will find this B&B. The rooms are all different, when the weather is nice the breakfast is served on a first floor terrace. But it's the hosts that make this place unique. Dick and Tineke are very knowledgeable they steer you away from tourist traps and into the lesser knows bruges. Nothing is too much trouble for then. Keep it up

Spacious double room with very modern en-suite. About 3 minute walk from square so perfect location! Typical continental breakfast offered. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating; so friendly! Very small sachets of what is both shower gel and shampoo (1 per person) offered daily so it’s worth buying your own which is what we did - minor comment really. Could be a little noisy outside but we didn’t mind. Would recommend!

Never have we experienced such a variety and different things each day. A great start to the day We were shown around all the bedrooms and they are all really nice and full of character. The complimentary port helped us sleep soundly each night! All in all a great break and thoroughly recommend staying here

Exceptional place to stay

This is one of the best guest houses we’ve stayed in. If I could give it 11/10 I would. From the moment we booked the room Michael was in constant communication with us, advising on parking and places to eat. Excellent advice given about where to go in Bruges and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was upgraded on check in to a suite which was simply stunning. Entry to your room and the main entrance was by way of digits from your mobile number into a keypad which was very innovative, no key to worry about. The breakfast was exceptional, all freshly prepared and plenty of it. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The property is very central and only a few minutes walk to all the main points of interest. Staying at Huis t’ Schaep has made our trip to Bruges even more special. We will definitely return.
