Reviewed By ElreticenteLlegué a él por sobreventa del hotel donde reservé. Es una casa llena de habitaciones. No es malo, es económico. Como para venir a la embajada o a un evento en Corferias. El wifi no funciona. Y no había jabón en el baño. Y la factura no existe, solo dan un recibo de caja que legalmente no sirve. Les agradezco que me hayan recibido en una noche que pude pasarla mal por no tener hotel.

The hotel was located just off calle 53, in Galerias area, with Carulla supermarket which is 24 hours just across the road. Loads of places to eat right next to the hotel such as KFC, McDonald's, halal y Carnes restaurant, and many others. Also loads of bars less than 3 mins walk away. This place is very close to anything you'll need during your stay. It is also just off calle 53, so not directly on the main road, but just off it. And you only need to walk 5 seconds off the main road to access the entrance to the hotel. Being so close to the main road though, you can hear the music from one of the bars which is right behind the hotel at night so it may not be ideal for light sleepers. You can also hear some noises from the main road. The room itself had a double bed, desk, wardrobe and side desk with lamp and draws. Decent size and facilities. En suite private bathroom with toilet, shower, and sink. The bathroom didn't have any shower gel but did have soap. The shower was decent. The views out of the window were amazing. But it seems that it may be the case from any window in Bogota. The breakfast that was served was decent. Usually came with scrambled eggs with tomatoes and onions if you wanted it, bread or arape and butter and jam. Orange juice. And a hot drink. The service overall, the girls at reception were very friendly, would help me whenever I needed it, and would always give advice. Carolina especially was amazing, always smiling and laughing. Great girl. Overall, service was good, location was great. Only downside was the noise at times in the night. Would I stay here again? Definitely.

Worst service ever
Reviewed By Elena DI booked a single room 10 days before I arrived. Once I arrived, they told me there was a mistake and didn't have my room available, so they just sent me to another hotel which was like 10 minutes (by car) from there. They didn't even called me before I got there to let me know the situation. I booked here because of the location, since it was closed from where I needed to be. They didn't care. Worst service ever.

Good for budget traveler, location to Transmillinio Bus lines, TINY room
Reviewed By Lee MSuper hot shower water, very clean, friendly proprietor, excellent location to Transmillinio bus on both sides, same for food and drink, near Museo National, safe. However, hard bed, very tiny room suitable for a tiny person but a large man like me banged my knees repeatedly, no fan in the bathroom or other ventilation other than opening the door onto hallway. Paper thin walls, thus a noise issue.

Our newly-renovated and restored bed and breakfast was built in the 1930s. The bathrooms are designed with a modern flair, they are new and feature continuous hot water systems. All rooms are equipped with shower towers. The complex is retrofitted with LED lighting throughout for a clean, warm, and eco-friendly experience. Cozy fireplace with lots or hand done wood and iron work throughout the home. Hard wood flooring. Windows feature double soundproof acoustic glass. Gated entry/courtyard. Intelligent TVs, DVD players, full set of amenities. Your destination is within the historic bohemian Teusaquillo on the outskirts of the down town area. Walking distance to the Candelaria, Museum of gold, Montserrat, La Macarena, the Parkway, Parque Nacional and many theaters. Thrift store on the premisses.
Once again - an amazing stay in Bogota
Reviewed By gatewaybearclawWe visited in 2015 and again last month (Sept. of 2021) and it's even better than it was. Beatriz was - once again - an amazing host. There are a lot more beautiful plants around the property and also some very friendly cats and a dog. Breakfast was excellent. The wifi was good before but this time it seemed better. We felt very safe in terms of covid protocols. And the neighborhood is still relatively quiet with a park right across the street and some very nice restaurants nearby. It's a great place to stay in Bogota.

Good for the price
Reviewed By 937JoeI stayed here and it was OK for the price. The room was small with no window but it was fairly modern with a hot shower. If you need wifi, make sure you ask for a room near the router for the best service. The breakfast was above average for a place at this price point and the staff were nice.
