Confusing staying
Reviewed By Rod_LavradorThe hotel is ok in general, but the service was confusing. I believe it is mostly due to poor communication in English. The checkin was just about making copies of our passports. No information was shared about breakfast, wifi, payment methods, and nothing at all. I was tired of driving all the way from Sheki and just wanted to go to the room, take a shower and sleep. Once in the room, we realized there was only 1 set of towels. I was with my wife and baby. I asked for at least one additional towel and, out of the blue, got an upgrade to a room downstairs. It was very nice, but once in the new room, again only 1 set of towels. I mean, my problem was not the room, it was the lack of towels. By that time, even more tired, I used the bathrobe as a towel and left the only towel available to my wife and baby. The following morning we went to the reception and asked where we should go for breakfast. After a bit of struggling to understand it, we were informed that we should've ordered it the previous day since the breakfast is served in the room at the agreed time. How were we supposed to know it? It's ok not speaking English, but what would cost a Boutique Hotel to print a page with all basic info in English and hand over it to guests upon check-in? All in all, I believe all Boutique hotels in AZ got the boutique concept wrong. In summary, the location is great, bed and general installations are comfortable, amenities are not "boutique" and communication need to urgently improve.

Worst hotel experience ever
Reviewed By yasserk505Terrible hotel, the door has no lock on the inside and my child was able to open the door. I booked my room through booking for 129 Azn, contacted management right away and asked for a refund since I couldn't stay in a room that has no lock on the inside, anyone with a card can enter and an child can go out unnoticeable. The manager was rude, unresponsive and racist. Upon complaining and asking for my money back he spoke back loud and with a terrible attitude and told me business is business and I will not refund you. He showed no sympathy towards my concern or my family. I ended up leaving without a refund and booking somewhere else last minute in a more expensive hotel. Any reasonable person would know no one would do such a thing as double pay and book last minute had the issue not been serious and the management attitude and resolution terrible. I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel as its not even worthy of being 2 stars. Not sure where the 5 stars came from, they definitely did not come from exceptional rooms or service

The hotel has a wonderful restaurant to have breakfast as garden, Flames can be seen, the sun shine is wonderful at breakfast, the staff are friendly and respectful, cooperative, we enjoyed our stay, old city 10 min away, taking a taxi by Bolt or Uber is so affordable, PCR staff came to hotel that could be managed with hotel, the area is so safe and charming.

The beds were comfortable,rooms big. The showers were in bath ,all in bath was corosed,should be replaced. Wemissed fridge,plates,coffee tea facilities

The curtains are also useless for keeping out the light so bring an eye mask or you’ll be awake at 6am. On the plus side, staff were very helpful and it was clean

Good, comfortable hotel, very good location, food not that great
Reviewed By PranavitoWe went there as a family, had taken two rooms. The hotel gave us good rooms on the 2nd floor with a partial view over the Flame Towers. The rooms are well-decorated and are large and spacious, and just the perfect one for a family. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor and the terrace has just about a perfect view over the Flame Towers and the surrounding area. It is extremely small and very cosy seating, not exactly the most comfortable. The breakfast was not that great, they didnt even have a toaster that worked and when we asked the staff to heat up the bread for us, we did face quite a bit of resistance, you constantly have to keep asking for just about everything and it comes when your breakfast is almost over. Service is super slow, dont expect much. Honestly, I would advice not having breakfast there at all. The location of the hotel is excellent. in the heart of the old city, close to the metro station, a lot of restaurants around. Despite the bad experience on the food and service, I still recommend this hotel for its location, comfort and cleanliness. The people of Azerbaijan, wherever we went, were extremely nice to us, so I will not let one hotel spoil my impression of the country,

The beds are comfortable, the showers are great and we had a really nice stay for the remainder of our trip. It is situated right next to a small mall and shopping areas and alot of coffee and eatery shops on a walking distance.

I have not ever seen such an amazing persons like Elgiz & Farid who are working in front desk. The gustes are welcomed by their smile & open heart. If I was the owner of this hotel,never lost such brilliant persons like this two staffs since they are the real assets of this property. The hotel was so clean & every day all towels & sheets replaced with new ones & paper toiltes & other supplies charged. Breakfast buffet was basic,but you could order omlet freely & the taste & quality of omlets were great,specially tomato omlet.? The hottel location was awesome & it was only 5 min walk to park boulvevard.It is also close to targovi street & 28 mall & u can reach them by 15 min walk. The negetive point about the hotel was the noise & we could hear the conversations from corridors easily. Also double beds was not actually double,I suppose they had put 2 single bed next to each other & was a little uncomprtable & hard,so mattress could be more softer. generally we recommend this hotel to others & will come back again If we visit Baku. At the end special thanks to Elgiz , Farid & all other employees that I dont know their names & really appreciated.
