Villa Bukit Segara is a private luxury villa, direct at the beach and seaside in Amed, the east of Bali. Built in 2010 by known architect Joost Van Grieken in modern tropical style. Villa Bukit Segara offers a tropical private oasis, pool and restaurant with stunning view of the sea. Free Wi-Fi is accessible. The villa is situated in a quite place in gardens of 6000 m2 direct at a coral sea, in beautiful east bali. Where even in the rainseason most of the time the sun shines. Villa Bukit Segara offers a total of five rooms, four bathrooms for maximum accommodation of 6 to 10 persons. The villa is available as a whole and as separate rooms for 2 or 3 persons. We offer you a beautiful and quite place, we have no TV in the room, but there is special room for TV. All air-conditioned rooms have a private terrace facing the ocean, pool and garden. They are equipped with a fan, wardrobe and a sitting area. Ensuite bathrooms each provide a shower, hot- cold water and a set of toiletries. Car with driver and motorbike are available for easy exploration of the island. Guests can enjoy a pampering in-room massage or a quiet read in the library or relaxing and sun bathing in front of the pool. Other on-site conveniences are airport shuttle, laundry, babysitting, fishing, snorkeling, yoga and canoing.

Reviewed By RonanLLAfter having stayed at 3 different hotels before spending a few nights at Bukit Segara, and having stayed at two more since, I can safely say this is the best accommodation we've had in Bali : - the staff are simply adorable. Never pressing, always present. Always with a smile, and ready to go the extra mile to make your stay the best it can possibly be. - the location is perfect. 10min scooter ride away from Amed/Tulamben, you're close to everything, yet away from the noise and effervescence of it all - the infinity pool and the view from the terrace/dining area are simply breathtaking - the restaurant is of the highest quality, and the prices are reasonable - put on your mask and tuba, walk 5 meters, dive, and you're in the corral reef. - the "small" scale of the Villa gives both a sense of exclusiveness to it all, and allows the staff to create a real personal experience. "Good morning mister Ronan" is so much more pleasant than "good morning sir, room number please ?" - the green/eco-friendly approach (special mention to the Villa's own water-filtering system, allowing you to brush your teeth "from tap" and not from water bottles like in all other hotels we stayed at) It's simple, really : I am typing this review from the Hilton Nusa Dua, 5 stars hotel and twice as expensive. I wish I had planned the trip differently, and stayed in Bukit Segara for the remaining of our tour of Bali. Truly a wonderful experience, absolutely nothing negative to say.

La Bila Restaurant is an essential component of La Bila Dive Resort Amed. We offer Indonesian & Balinese Cuisine but as well Mediterranean dishes like Pasta or Pizza, German Schnitzel or even the best seller Cordon Bleu. Located 50 m from Amed Beach, our PADI Dive Resort features modern furnished rooms with free WiFi provided in all areas. Restaurant guests can arrange as well outdoor activities such as snorkelling and diving through our staff. The bungalows provide AC, flat-screen cable TV, desk and wardrobe. Rooms come with a terrace and seating area with bean bags and hammock overlooking the garden where you can enjoy and even order from our restaurant. The en suite bathroom includes a hot shower and free amenities.
Rare female dive instructor in Bali!
Reviewed By Victor-PoonamWe cannot recommend this place enough for diving in Bali - they are great at what they do. We wanted to do our Advance Open Water certification here and we did, with our dive instructor Ilu. Ilu is extremely patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. We always felt very safe under her supervision. She always explained concepts and the exercises we would have to do underwater beforehand in good detail so that we understood them. Apart from being a great dive school, La Bila also has a great crew of people. The resort manager Juan is extremely communicative, helpful, and flexible in arranging extra activities for us. We also had a fantastic driver who went the extra mile to try and bring us to all the nice places in Bali on our last day. The accommodation of La Bila itself is simple but has everything you need for a dive stay - a clean and comfortable room to rest in while rejuvenating between diving days. This is not the place to spend entire days in if you are not doing other activities throughout the day.

The Sudamala staff were all exceptional, kind, helpful, friendly and always accommodating and finding answers to any questions I had. I enjoyed just walking out onto the beach and going snorkelling or taking my scooter up / down the road to snorkel in the surrounding areas.

Peace Tranquility and friendly staff

You'll need to have scooter or hire driver as it's a few kms from all the best snorkeling/diving spots near Jemaluk and Lipah beach. Snorkeling in front of villa will depend on the tide. Walk straight out the gate and turn left towards rocks for an easier entrance to water. Reef shoes will assist as there is little sand here mainly rocks. Our hosts Wayan (boy) and Wayan (girl) are super friendly and will organise everything you need for an awesome holiday. Wayan girls cooking is sensational and probably the best and freshest food around Amed. Gardens beautiful, infinity pool with views of the ocean, you can't help but relax!! For an awesome driver another Wayan is your man. Super friendly and will go out of his way to make a tour program for you and ask you what experiences of Bali you would like to see. His contact is +6281 338 013 275 The 3 Wayan's have treated us like family and it's going to be tough to leave. Another bonus was having the entire villa to ourselves for 7 out of the 9 days!! If you want the tranquil holiday you've been dreaming of then Villa Ida Amed Bali is the place. Dean and Kali from Australia.

The moment I arrived I felt not welcomed there.Thou I left tips and wasn't asking anything except water during my stay, Made didn't allow me to check out later (hotel was empty for the whole of my stay on the weekend, so doubt someone was coming on Monday specifically to that room). For the request to bring water I was redirected to the kitchen, and for some water I was eventually extra charged? Bad internet and noise from the street made this stay 1star. But main concern is Made who definitely should not be working in hospitality if he hates it so much

The staff is so friendly and helpful. During our wedding in 2018, they did best as they could to make sure the reception was organized well. We were so thankful with their hard work. We booked all the rooms for our friends and family. Last March, we were back to the hotel. Although there were no many guests due to Covid 19, they kept their hotel well maintained. They made sure the garden and swimming pool were clean although we were the only guests. Thanks to Ketut and other staff. ? The hotel is beach front and has quite big pool for Amed. We love spending our time in their pool as it is so beautiful. We stayed in the suite room which is very big. We had semi outdoor bathroom and we liked it. Hopefully, there are many guests coming to Amed so this hotel can recover soon. I recommend anyone to stay in Arya Amed ?

Beach front property with magnificent view

Too bad we can't get a good deal for extended stay because the owner does not want to offer extended stay discount. Nevertheless, this is a magnificent place to stay. Housekeeping staff is always on hand to tidy and clean up you room. The breakfast, even though limited, is always prepared to an excellent standard. The room is clean, spacious, with own fridge and a lot of electricity socket. The quad villa in the front offers magnificent beach view and it's literally 20 steps away from the sea. The owner are animal friendly, so you will always have one or two furry friends checking you out. The garden attracts a lot of singing birds so every morning you will wake up to the crashing of waves and bird songs. And if you wake up really early, you get to see the local fishermen hoist their jukungs to set sail and fish. I recommend the quad villa for a group of 3 to 5. The double villa at the back is too small to accommodate more than 2 people. Thank you Pak Gde and Pak Putu for making my stay here excellent!

Reviewed By Mark SMy girl and I spent a couple days and had an amazing time. The place is very well taken care of, clean and the customer service is EXCELLENT. The family that owns this place makes sure you have a good time in Amed. The facilities are great. Bed is comfortable, AC works well, very spacious bathroom and there's a lounge by the door if you just want to hangout after a long day. I would suggest getting the room with the ocean view! I highly recommend this place. I have nothing but positive things to say about it. Thank you Alur Homestay!
