The Pelican

The Pelican Inn is a no-nonsense Real Ale pub situated between Gloucester Cathedral and Kingsholm Rugby Stadium.

A wonderful, unspoilt and cosy pub interior with a real fire and excellent beer. Staff very friendly and efficient. Just a bit odd when locals sit at your table and don't speak to you! We considered that, as visitors, we were being "edged out", so we had two more rounds and took our time.

Visited the pub this evening with a group of friends, the staff were very chatty and accommodating. The food was piping hot on arrival and tasted lovely! I would highly recommend the red velvet cake ???? will definitely be visiting here again.

The Cheese Rollers Inn

Home made food, large car park and garden with stunning views. Skittle alley/function room for hire.

Reviewed By 79Norbury - Croydon, United Kingdom

Monday 6th July 2020. First visit to the Cheese Rollers since the lock down. Wow what a surprise. Completely revamped by Ian and Den . Now a bright new look with more space. Unrecognisable from the previous tired looking place. Even the garden has had a revamp. No need to drive, use the number 10. We think that you will be as pleasantly surprised as we were.
