Bamboushay

I've been eating out at Bamboushay for years but I have to say in the last 12 months I’ve noticed the food is just getting better and better. They surpassed themselves this week which is why I have written the review. I had the tenderloin steak special with mushroom sauce, the steak was one of the best I’ve ever had, melt in your mouth tender and cooked to perfection. A friend had yellow fin tuna with avocado salsa which was excellent too. At the other end of the scale they do a very good Pizza so all in all it's difficult to go wrong. The staff are friendly and certainly “yes” people which all add to a very enjoyable experience.

Been here a few times over the years and always found it a great and friendly place. Great bar service and that man Devon must have the happiest face on the island. Ate at the new Peg Legs beach restaurant as the old Peg Legs restaurant got blown away by Irma. Great meal, great service and very reasonable price

A great place a must see.! They have the live WebCam. This was our first time there, our friends kept telling us how much we will love it because they have been there many times and it did not disappoint us! I can’t wait to return back again one day. And the gift shop has lots of cool things. We got some cool bar mats for our bar at home. And the painkillers were very good I must say.

Foxy's Bar

This bar is full of character, particularly the character of Foxy himself, who greets visitors with impromtu songs to a calypso beat.

Came here by boat for drinks. The captain told us that the first thing we had to do after getting a drink was go upstairs and find Foxy. (Didn't even know there was a "Foxy" :)). What a treat!!!! We found Foxy laying in a hammock with a small crowd around him telling jokes and stories. He was HILARIOUS!! We stayed and listened to and chatted with him for a while. SO MUCH FUN! (Just so you know what you're getting in to, you can find him telling his stories on youtube). Beach was beautiful, drinks were great and we loaded up on lots of great goodies at the awesome store! Definitely a must see!
