The structure of recent construction enjoys of 6 rooms with bagno,aria condizionata,tv,cassaforte and ample panorama on the Coast of the Dei.Ils stay you/he/she will be delighted with a good kitchen to base of fish but also Calabrian specialty and a good pizza cooked in the oven to legna.Siamo to few kms from Tropea and other imporatanti place calabresi.Splendida the beach of Zambrone made of white sands and a sea cristallino.Da us you will find courtesy and hospitality.

Reviewed By 682cathyoWe stayed at this resort for 8 days in a deluxe room! The meandering pool was perfect with an infinity pool overlooking the resort below! Was nice and quiet! The first trip to the dining room was interesting, the manger allows you to select the table that is yours for the entire stay. The staff was incredible from management to the front desk staff, very helpful and always happy to assist with anything you needed! We did adventure off the resort to the train station which is a 5 min walk away. We bought our train tickets at the tobacaria across the road from the station as the station doesn’t sell tickets. We went to tropea twice which was absolutely spectacular. Lots of walking but the culture and ambiance was really something not to miss! Stop at a cafe and take it all in! The train ride was about 15-20 mins away. The train is clean and very efficient. We also went to Pizzo, loads up walking, not suggested if you have mobility issues. Stunning as well and not to be missed. The food at the resort was delicious and lots to choose from. The only thing we found lacking was more fruit at meals. The sea is so beautiful with crystal clear blue water. We enjoyed floating in the nice warm sea. You will need water shoes to get in as there r a lot of stones at the edge of the water. We flew Air Transat, a direct flight, which was perfect for the short time we had! The plane was super cramped even thought we had purchased seats with more leg room. If ur hippy it might be a problem. I would definitely recommend this resort!

This property is a 5-minute walk from the beach. With views of the Bay of Zambrone and the Aeolian Islands, the Blu Tropical offers rooms and apartments with private balcony or terrace. The property is on two levels: the Hotel far about 300 meters from the beach and it offers, from their rooms, an excellent panoramic view, in same cases facing on the sea; while Residence is situated near the beach on the same level of the sea. Parking inside of the entire structure is free, and Tropea is just far 9 km about. The Blu Tropical's private sandy beach, between May and October it's equipped with free sun loungers and deckchairs. The Tropical's restaurant on the beach is called Blu Shine and it serves a delicious mix of typical Calabrian cuisine and international dishes. Themed evenings are organised regularly. Breakfast is buffet style, including a selection of sweet and savoury products. The Blu Crystal Pool is an hydromassage swimming pool and it features a solarium. The Blu Tropical offers a free transfer service to/from Zambrone Train Station. During summer the hotel may only be bookable for weekly stays, from Saturday to Saturday.

Reviewed By PundravciAlways happy to come back to Calabria. Green Tyrrhenian see, white send, great food... Hotel Blu Tropical is very good positioned, on the hill, looking at the see. People are more than friendly. They wouldn't allow any problem to come in the way of having a good time. If you have any problem or remark - simply tell them, and they will try to fix it for you as soon as possible. And they really try. The beach is sandy but going into the water is rocky so somebody could see that as a problem. For us - rocks in the see provide very clear water and we like it. The food is really tasteful. No fuss at the diner - you have your table waiting for you, no meter when you arrive - pleasant surprise for us. No internet in rooms, and that is our suggestion for them - it is really not such a big problem to give to the guests internet in the rooms... As I always say - there are a lot of beautiful places on Earth waiting for us to visit, but we always like to come back to Calabria. Hotel Blu Tropical is definitely worth visiting again.

Reviewed By Michal MDecent hotel with great outdoors, small park for kids, clean swimming pools and good beach. Whole resort is like "back in 80`", but not bad. Apartments need to refurbish and add kitchen equipment. We had just two small glasses and cups, no plates. In room is big fridge with small TV and no Wifi in whole resort for few weeks. Restaurant, food and service need to be improved! We went with a full board package to this place for one week and it was enough. The dining service is awful. The range of food is poor with about 2 meat options first is pasta and for the evening meal one of which is thin fish platter. They stop lunch at 14:00 and start the evening meal at 19:00 Worth knowing if you have young kids with you. No drinking water in resort, only one machine for water open on breakfast. Juice and coffe are made from automat machine, coffe is just brown water. If you want to go to a supermarket one is a 30 minute walk uphill and another closest is in another resort Village Le Muse. The kids club is for Italian speaks kids only. The table tennis is free but you can never get the bats and ball from reception. Their evening entertainment starts late so again if you have young kids nothing starts until around 10pm. Whole personal did not speak English, only manager of reception. We won't be back ... Calabria is nice place, but next time we will use another resort.

The staff is professional and careful, ready to sort anything; the cuisine is tipical and traditional, always varied, with a delicate taste. The bathing beach is nice and very trim. The bay and the sea are simply delightful: northely, the Scoglio del Leone and the Marinella shore not to be missed. The website (http://www.lapraia.it/) is reliable very much. To be maked better, but by arrangement with the others hotels, the course to the sea.

The beach is amazing, long and never crowded, however it is pebbled so make sure you bring the right shoes. we stayed in a bungalow, loved the fact that is clean and spacious, the playground and the toys were a big plus for us, as well as the market within the premises, so you can buy basics like fruit, vegetables, pasta, cheese, etc. They have a beach bar and a restaurant on the premises. I would definitely return
