Hualuxe Hotels A large hotel with spacious and clean rooms, located on the outskirts of the city, so the rooms are quite quiet, good breakfast, Wi-Fi, free use of the pool, sports fields, beautiful views of the lake. Nearby there are several small shops, local cafes and restaurants, 7-Eleven, a shopping center and a massage room. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the intercity bus station. By taxi, you can reach the sea in an hour. Friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel staff speaks some English badly but somehow they make themselves understood. Rooms are equipped with minibar and air conditioning. The bathroom is very large and offers a shower and a bathtub. Guests also have a swimming pool and restaurant for lunch and dinner during their stay. Hearty breakfast with a variety of sweet and savory. Hotel usually livelier towards the weekend. A few steps away offers a music club to be able to spend an alternative weekend. A nice short break
Reviewed By VeteranitoIt’s a fabulous resort with all the facilities you need to chill or explore with your children for a short break. The room is spacious with a balcony to refresh and overlooks the long beach that is beautiful. The beach waves is a bit rough, so is not recommended but the outdoor pool (they have an indoor too) is just next to the beach so the breeze is great! Would suggest for a self drive for easy accessing the island’s restaurants and other places.

Not impressive at all
Reviewed By JohnSMahIf you're used to 3-star hotels, this is ok then. It is clean, has grandeur, but that's about it. If it's intending to be a 4-star hotel, then you'll have an issue. Sure, we came in the off season, but if amenities are advertised, then they should be available. The pool was closed for the 'winter'. The basketball court was locked but available to play, for a fee. That is really poor. Worst yet, the internet was slow and most sites are blocked (Gmail, Netflix, YouTube, Google, maps, etc). We didn't get any emails so felt completely disconnected and isolated. Not a feeling you should have at any hotel. Make sure you have a cell plan. And the food was bad. In the Blue Cafe, none of the food matched the ingredient descriptions, it was extremely slow service and the food quality was low. Perhaps as it's off season, sure, but there shouldn't be substitutions. The old and dated decor and faux Italian architecture will also make you feel out-of-place. It seems like they're trying to be something they're not, and just can't pull it off. Don't stay here if you have another choice.

Amazing place for stay
Reviewed By Veve9588This hotel located in Dong Yue Park, a kind of small mountain but with good view. You can choose the mountain view if you need the fresh air, or another choice for the city view. It's in the center of the Yangjiang, quite famous in local villagers. Near Hailing Island and the hot spring. They also have restaurant that serve Chinese food especially from Guangdong. The restaurant always crowded everytime I come. It has the mountain view in the restaurant on the 3rd floor. Or maybe can try to reserve a private lunch room. This hotel has unique public toilet located in the ground floor in the lobby. Too beautiful with some statue inside. Some employees can speak English. Not just in Front desk but also in Restaurant. That makes me easier when stay in here for couple days. But the breakfast need to improve. I expect buffet breakfast with more choice. The room was clean, really satisfied with the service

After checking in though, we found that none of our rooms were made up so were shifted to another floor. Most rooms and corridors smelled of smoke. Nice clean and modern bathrooms, comfortable beds. Great variety of food available for breakfast which was much appreciated by our teenagers. Maritime Silk Road Museum is just next door and the hotel is right on the beach. Pool was clean and warm and the gardens were beautifully kept.

Great rooms and services!
Reviewed By Greg PWe stayed here for one night and it was a great experience! We were on the 8th floor (the top floor) and the room was excellent! Very spacious and a bathroom that ran the full length of the room! The bathroom included a bath with bath salts. Everything was clean, there were plenty of extras like razor, slippers, soft bath gowns etc. The hotel services include a Western restaurant, Chinese restaurant, a massage service and a gym. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant on the ground floor was clean, had pleasant background music and a good choice of foods. The only negatives were that the windows let through quite a bit of the morning traffic noise even though they appear to be double glazed, and the light from the bathroom window made its way around the corner and into the room. So it was hard to sleep past about 7:30. However this was an excellent hotel and we would gladly stay here again!
