Typical "small" city Chinese hotel away from the popular destinations
Reviewed By Julian4242Small hotel, comfortable enough and the room was well appointed. On arrival at around 10 pm, everything was closed - not only in the hotel but the whole area! No non-Chinese language channels available on the TV, but the internet worked (remember no Google or related website access). Room clean enough, bed comfortable. As far as I could tell, no staff could speak English and my Mandarin is non-existent. Breakfast buffet- very Chinese, a sweet juice like drink, black tea or sweet, weak milky coffee to drink. Noodles, vegetable, congee etc. Perfectly acceptable hotel in the small (I million population I was advised) city, but nothing to do.

Nice Boutique Style Hotel in the Heart of Taipei
Reviewed By B CThe Home Hotel Xinyi (not the Dawn Branch) is located in the heart of Downtown Taipei. It is also situated right in the middle of the entertainment and shopping area. There are also plenty of great restaurants in the area. If none of those things I mentioned to you appeal to you, maybe this might not be the area you want to stay in. The Hotel is great value for the area. Due to the appeal of the area, many hotels in the same class are way above this hotel's rates. The staff area great and the rooms are fresh and clean. The breakfast is adequate, not your 5 star hotel spreads but good nonetheless. Lastly, it is a very short walk to Taipei 101 and access to the subway which will easily take you to anywhere you want to go in Taipei.

adequate for the price in this city level and for short stay
Reviewed By asie fas per title; return, ?, maybe not; horrible?, no; poz = cleaning standards ok .I found no issues; good hot shower etc; staff friendly; good wifi apart from usual china blockages but that's the government not the hotel; good location; furnishings etc functional and ok.. surprising good amenities too; and they claim to be doinbg the green thing (as the name suggests obviously in English and mandarin/ neg = air not clean as smoking people all around even supposed to be nonsmoking but that's like 'welcome to smaller cities in chona''; NO English on the front desk, so my basic Putonghua + signing; BIG NEGATIVE; my international (platinum hsbc visa) wasn't accepted in their machine..had to trot to the atm for cash else..ok

房间小，卫生不理想
Reviewed By 增光汪商务房空间小，没有无烟房，房间地面卫生打扫不彻底。舒适度较差。房价隔音效果差，对面或者隔壁关门声音明显。房间插座和阅读灯串联，手机充电阅读灯就熄灭，否则就无法充电。

服务很差的酒店
Reviewed By 虎小猫处在闹市，周边环境很乱，房间很大，宽带也不错，设施很一般，龙头是坏的，空调声音像拖拉机，没有可调的床头灯，没有浴袍，服务不是一般的差，在酒店吃饭，问有什么主食，服务员居然回答不知道，然后说应该有面条，米饭很多时候没有所以她也不知道今天有没有，其他的，就干脆回答，我怎么知道，真不知道应该谁知道。到房间，要服务员多送一个枕头过来，干脆回答，你自己凑活吧，我们这没多余的枕头……
