Reviewed By nyfiken_78This was our second time around visiting both Siguniang and this hostel. Location: 5 minutes walk from the busstation and entrance to Haizi valley as well as ticketoffice for Changping valley. Room: (last time a very cold twinroom) This time a dormroom with window towards the street, with shared toilet. Beds were comfy and clean, and all of them had a electric heating blanket. Bathroom had a chinesestyled toilet, shower was warm quickly and also some heating from the roof. The reception offers free green tea and sometimes public TV is offered for sportevents. Several maps of the valleys and you can buy noodles, drinks, some sweets for reasonable prising. It is possible to rent hikingequipment and the manager can book taxi and bus for you, as well as guides and tours. Restaurant:veggiesoup tasted nothing, tomato-egg as well as garlic-broccoli was really good! Chinesefriedrice was good as well. The yakbeef was good,but consisted mostly of onion and only some very small pieces of meat. Overall it is ok. Manager/owner Xiao: speaks english very well, is serviceminded and has a lot of knowledge about the area. We highly recommend this place if not for any other reason, then still for him. Fantastic!!

Reviewed By Adam BThis hostel is a gem! It is over-flowing with Tibetan charm and a friendly atmosphere. The lounge area is great for individuals or groups, it has a bar which also offers some 'instant noodle' type food. There are different types of room available ranging from single rooms and twin rooms to larger mixed sex dormitories. We had twin rooms with en-suites and these were adequate though not plush. The food here was distinctly 'rural'. The hostel is ideally situated should you be planning to walk up Mount Siguniang, and they can arrange guides, porters and so on. The Tibetan decor and lovely atmosphere of this hostel make it a real joy.

Reviewed By MuzzydThis is a fabulous traditional style inn with modern style and it is beautifully decorated. The rooms are really clean and the beds are so comfortable! The hosts are so welcoming and the owner speaks excellent English and he is a first rate guide who can organise any type of adventure or tour in this absolutely amazing area.

Reviewed By Skye_CY入到長坪村就可以見到客棧,不難, 員工友善有笑容, 房間闊大, 沒有空調的, 有電氈提供, 但厚厚棉被加毛氈都足夠~有需要的可向前枱借風筒用. 距離日隆下車點步行15分鐘左右, 看其他網站說有接送車, 不過剛到步時問了店員, 說是收費的, 每位十元, 所以走路過來就可以了, 只是客棧前的大斜路很吃力!! 在客棧晚餐, 吃了清湯火煱, 十分有風味! 肉及疏菜都十分新鮮!! 整體來說, 舒服度/整潔度不錯~~值得推介~

Reviewed By dpprI had an amazing stay at this brand new hostel situated on a quiet street behind the main drag in Rilong (aka Siguniang Town). I'm told the owner is a consummate backpacker who decided to expand on his passion by way of 2 hostels including this one. The rooms are squeaky clean and spanking new, with each bunk cleverly equipped with USB sockets for phone charging and an electric blanket (essential for frosty nights). The common areas are decked in quirky furniture pieces, pop art posters, and travel portraitures. The roof deck was great for chugging a beer and watching night fall over the town after a long day of hiking. The young lady who manages the hostel is truly dedicated. She was incredibly helpful in recommending hiking routes to maximize my limited time, and in arranging transfers to the trailheads and back to Chengdu at below market prices. Siguniang is definitely a place worth at least 3 full days for hiking, climbing the peaks or both. The scenery is just gobsmacking and you'll pinch yourself in disbelief that this is China. And thankfully it's not yet overrun with selfie-taking tourist hordes. Tip: Toothpaste and other supplies available for free at the front
