Enjoyed a wonderful dining experience with group of 8. The chef took care of everything when we arrived - selecting wine pairings to carry from starter through dessert and surprising us with each course of the "house" specialty that night. Delicious! From the antipasti and riccota crostini to the fresh al dente pasta and rosemary veal, everything was absolutely wonderful. We closed with a taste of Nocino Delle Streghe, a sweet and dark liqueur made from walnuts in the region. Highly recommend.

On our Thursday evening visit, there were a lot of English people in the restaurant. We attempted to speak Italian, but our poor Italian and accents must have given it away as staff spoke to us in English and gave us the English menu. The restaurant was busy and staff were rushing around. Despite the restaurant being full. food arrived within ten minutes of ordering. The food was all right. Seating was way too cramped though - my husband had to squeeze by the pair of diners next to us to get into his seat - and he is slim! Cost was similar to other places like this - 35 euros for two mains, water and cover charge.

What a place! What a welcome! Small restaurant, a little outside Bologna. Everything is home made. Bread basket delicious, Everything we ate was really good. First we shared a sélection of dried hams, salami, and local cheese, very tasty. And then I had beef tartar, hmm...and finished of with homemade pasta with asparagus.. And Paolo recommended us some local wine, which was very interesting.If we come back to Bologna I would sure like to come back here. Thanks for a great evening.
