la tipica Osmiza del Carso, tenuta con grande amore da Boris e la moglie, dispongono anche di camere in B&Bottimi i loro salumi e le altre produzioni agricole, ma sui vini si apprezza tutto il duro lavoro che svolgono tutto l'anno

Tried by chance at lunch, truly impressed. Chef Nicola, a young professional but very very knowledgeable, suggested as appetizer a great, fresh & tasteful octopus salad. A fantastic spaghetto allo scoglio, home Made fresh pasta, mussels and clams. End of game a three way dish of marinated fish (tuna, shrimps, salmon). Amazing wine selection: Lis Neri Campo dei Fiori, Vitoska, Malvasia. WoW!!!!!

We found this place through a recommendation of a local and were hoping for a great experience. However, because we hadn't made a reservation we couldn't stay for dinner because they were "fully booked"... We went to the beach nearby and had a peek 2,5 hours later... Only 2 tables taken. We could've had a nice meal they'd been more flexible. Shame! Dear jevt232,We are very sorry about your experience with us during busy hours. If you have the chance it would be a pleasure for us to invite you with a reservation another time. In response to yours review, we can explain: our restaurant has only 45 seats and a modest kitchen, this - combined with the fact that we are in a seaside resort, during high season and in a Sunday evening - means that we are often full. We would not have had reason to say that we were fully booked if we were not really been, since our job is to guarantee the best possible experience to our customers.Therefore, next time we recommend first to call us to find out about the availability of the tables and avoid this situations.Your opinion about our service seems rushed, as it is based on mistaken assumptions and on a fast talk with one person of our staff. As mentioned before, we are a small restaurant and to ensure a pleasant experience to our customers, we always offer fresh fish, caught the same day (limited to the best fresh pieces) and whom likes to stay longer for the view of our location, usually can remain from 7.00 pm to 12.00 pm because we want people to enjoy the meal without rush (for this reason we do not guarantee double shifts).We don't know exactly what time you've returned, but we assume just before closing time, since you claim to have seen only two tables.Hasten meals of our customers or give the scraps of fish only to have a customer plus it's not our style.
