Very nice and cosy place for a breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee and glass of wine or prosecco right in the heart of the town of Budweis - at the mail square. No matter whether you are with a boyfriend, group of friends, family or a business partner you can choose from different locations and corners within the café according to you needs. Quality coffee and wine and perfect service. Hello, I appreciate the time you spent by writing such a nice review! In our restaurant and wine bar is welcome anyone who loves good wine, delicious food, czech beer, informal service, and especially anyone who likes things as they are and can enjoy the beauty of the moment. Fresh quality ingredients and most importantly,
We had reservations for this restaurant, but this was not necessary. The restaurant is non-smoking and the staff is very friendly. We had a lovely starter of Spanish hams, various cheeses, olives and GREAT fresh bread. The wine by the glass was excellent and very affordable. I had a full bodied Chilean wine for 50 crowns a glass (about 2 euros). For the mains, all of us felt that the food was of high quality. My steak was perfectly cooked and the potatoes and carrots were lovely. We opted for another glass of wine instead of dessert. There were two negatives. First, the service was very slow considering that there were very few people there. We didn't mind because we were with friends and were catching up. The other negative is that the menu was only in Czech. The waiter offered to translate, but what a drag... They really should get an English menu.
