We ate here twice during a holiday in Tuscany. The first time there was a set menu at an excellent price which included local specialties such as pasta with wild boar sauce and rabbit. The second time we chose à la carte and thoroughly enjoyed very interesting dishes such as duck in a chocolate and pine nut sauce and steak with different original sauces. Good prices and excellent service. We sat outside as it was August, but the interior looks great.

We had a very nice dinner in Lari. I Burattinai served very good food by kind English speaking personnel. The card was in three languages. Pasta came from next door, Martinelli. The steak with gorgonzola was tasty. The location on top of the wall was top!I recommend this place to all families visiting this awesome area!

Superb restaurant which serves typical Tuscan dishes: they the tagliata (sliced beef) or the wild boar. You won't be disappointed. The antipasti misti are among the best I ever tasted. .

Booked a month before we went and confirmed swiftly. Hand written menu choices, lovely service and wine and the food was so tasty, true Tuscan and had a real home cooked feel to it. Very busy restaurant which is a great sign so you must book.Had most dishes and all equally delicious. Wild boar, veal, pasta with sausage and pepperoni and sliced beefTiramisu and ice cream went down a treat for dessert Highly recommendLovely seating in the square at Lajatico. Unspoilt Italy

We dropped in for dinner this week and was not disappointed. Lovely fresh homemade pasta. Fresh seafood and wine. Very fair and reasonable prices. Served up in the friendly way that Italians know best. Nice setting in a typical Tuscany style outside courtyard. We have a house nearby and will be back very soon. Highly recommended.Thanks for the review and above all for the way we welcome and serve our guests. We are waiting for you to taste our typical Tuscan dishes

Great menu, good service and lovely setting. Shame not more choice of food and shame they weren't busier.Seafood pasta was heaving with seafood, steak cooked to perfection and cheesecake to die for. While staying in very beautiful Chianni, we had dinner here. For all four adults, it was one of our best meals ever. The dining room is a lovely setting, and the food makes it perfect. We cannot wait to return.

We enjoyed a beautiful lunch delivered to our Bocelli Luxury apartment along with enjoying a wonderful dinner at the Bistro itself. Gabriele and his mom were splended hosts and treated us like we were part of the family. Their food was delicious. The meat platter prepared for us was divine. The raviolis with a new sauce were divine. The conversation and love shared with us was beyond lovely. We can't wait to visit here again with our new friends.

The food and service were exceptional due to local ingredients cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding with every dish fully explained. We had a wonderful wine suggested to us and it was the right choice. The views are stunning and the restaurant very comfortable. What a glorious experience for my birthday and honeymoon celebration. Dovendo recarci nelle vicinanze, abbiamo scoperto per caso questo ristorante dove siamo stati a pranzo in una bella giornata di sole. La location è molto bella, gode di una vista magnifica a 360^ sulle colline toscane. Essendo ancora caldo, abbiamo pranzato allâaperto godendo del panorama. Allestimento semplice ma curato, personale gentile e molto attento alle richieste, abbiamo apprezzato lâattenzione al cliente dimostrata nel corso del pranzo dalla proprietà e dalla chef, che si è venuta a presentare al termine chiedendoci sensazioni e commenti.Quanto alle pietanze, si connotano per il sapiente utilizzo della materia prima locale. Ottimi i primi, eccezionale lo stracotto, molto buoni anche i dolci. Carta dei vini sufficientemente ampia e diversificata, comprendendo anche vini non solo del territorio.
