We had a late lunch on the first day after checking in at the Holiday Inn. It wasn't busy so we received fast friendly service - a cold beer really went down well as a pretty hot day especially as the best price we had seen in any restaurant. Shrimp cakes and pad thai were good. Went back the next night for dinner and it was really busy and service was very slow but food still good.

At the wonderful designedSALA Resort and hotel, you will find a perfect restaurant! View to the ocean, protected, fine lights at night, very romantic. The menues are fresh and fine selected. Every night something special is prepared. The service is so friendly . All in all it is a treat to spend the dinner or lunch at this place.!

Food + meals are worthy of consideration BUT Coffee and beverages here are overpriced. If you are a foodie snob this is not for you but anyone else will enjoy a host who works hard with his family to earn a living producing decent food at very good prices.The ârestaurantâ looks like it was âfurnished â over many years of hard graft, and I recommend that you give it a try.Certainly somewhere to write home about.

Loved the crab curry and tomyum. Slightly unusual fare (i.e. not just red curry or green curry). However, the soup dish from the kids' menu was very salty, not sure if it was a mistake on the chef's part or intentional. If intentional, I'd suggest reducing the salt / fish sauce in the dish. We were staying at a hotel nearby and wanted a break from hotel food. This place came recommended by the hotel and it did not disappoint! We chose a set meal and the banana leaf and prawn dish was a standout. Everything was delicious, fresh and spicy. The whole dining area is surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Nice outdoor eating experience. We went two days in a row!

we've just had a wonderful dinner here.. our son finished the whole plate of spaghetti bolognese...we're so happy ... if not really delicious he would not even touch it even he would have been starving ... so super...my husband tried Pad Kraprao ... which might be very basic Thai dish ... but the Wow was it was serving with Three kinds of steamed rice - Jasmine rice/ brown rice / and Pandan Jasmine rice .... very well cooked But the highlight was Indian food ... it was not that spicy ... but the taste is mild and wonderful ... the chicken was so tender with perfect spices ... fish curry was gorgeous ... saffron rice was so beautiful cooked ... and Garlic Naan was perfect crispy - best ever! ... I came here for lunch. It was about a 20 minute slow walk from the Dusit Laguna.They had a great selection of lunch specials. My dish was 110 bhat with top up for egg and vegetables.I had the thai fried rice and it was amazing!Staff were great. There were a few mosquitos. And as soon as i sat down they lit a mosquito coil. It was nice to relax and enjoy my lunch.Nice rustic setting on the main street.I would love to come back!
