We were 10 minutes early for our booking... it was raining, I pushed the door open to see if we could wait inside. Fantastic atmosphere. High quality food with very attentive staff. We had an enjoyable family Sunday lunchtime at The Regional Thai. The food was of a high standard and delicious. The waitress was helpful and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. We really couldnât have asked for more. It is hidden away up an alley of the high street but really worth finding.

No matter if it's busy in here and we have to wait, we will do rather than go somewhere else if we can. The service is fun and different depending on who is out front on any given day and the food is delicious! And if you don't like spice, there are plenty of options. Would highly recommend the Sateh, tempura prawns, mussaman, sizzling dishes and the sweet and sour! No feeling rubbish after like you get with Chinese. It's altogether more light and fragrant. Love the coconut rice and pad Thai too.

For 2 of us, a two course meal and drinks came to just over £40....... fantastic prices for the quality of food. Great menu with plenty to choose from. The food was delicious, fresh with so much flavour. Will definitely visit again if Iâm up that way again.

Came here to celebrate my birthday with friends and family together and it was a lovely evening with delicious food. Everyone really enjoyed it and the staff were really friendly and made an effort to help me celebrate the occasion. Would definitely recommend!

Sat 26 Oct 2019, 20:00MIXED BAG of great, good, average, strange?!Starter - Thai Fish Cakes ==> strangely rubbery texture, pretty much tastelessStarter - Sweet Corn Cake ==> unexpectedly good!Starter - Soft Shell Crab ==> some parts good, other parts YUCK â I presume depends which bit of crab we were eating in that mouthful?!Starter - Fluffy Scallops ==> scallops were okay, but sauce was massively overpowering! Scallops are a delicate taste, so shouldnât be destroyed like this.Main - Tamarind Duck ==> very tasty for the most part, till we got to soggy/fatty/gristly bits.Main - Pla Ma-Now (sea bass) ==> sea bass was undercooked, but mostly good.
