The Longstore Steaks & Seafood

Steakhouse and seafood restaurant located near the beautiful Charlestown harbour.

It's been just over a year since we had dinner at The Longstore on our wedding day so whilst we were passing through Charlestown we thought we'd pop back in. Same great attentive service, our French waitress was excellent. Crab and avocado salad was amazing and the hake was excellent. If you get a table by the window you do get a glimpse of the harbour and sea. Just wish the restaurant was a little closer to home!

An informal bistro style dining experience on the outskirts of St austell, serving amazingly fresh local fish & shell fish, meltingly tender Cornish steaks and interesting European dishes. We look forward to welcoming you...

A group of 13, mixed ages including children, plus some vegans and some vegetarians met up for an evening meal. We were not the only large group but service was excellent. The Kingswood is willing to be flexible on menu choice, understands that children can’t always wait, and has a great atmosphere. All food was excellent, taste, texture and temperature. Great choice of drinks too. Service is friendly and prompt but never hurried. The only problem is that they don’t have green tea available as an option. But overall, a definite 10/10.
