Here i had one of the best pepper steak i have ever had in South-America. Great staff to, did not miss a thing. A little bit expencive compared to standard restaurants in the area but i think this one may be a bit above standard in every way.

If you want to visit La Cabrera you can book on line in advance, which is recommend doing as people were queuing to get in when we were there. A small watch out is that you secure your booking with a credit card and if youâre more than 15 mins late they may charge you a fee. The food was great. We all had steak, you can choose exactly how you want it cooked. They give you a number of free small side dishes, which gives you a chance to try some different things. The cover includes some tasty breads and dips. The waiters were all smartly dressed in a butchers type apron which adds to the atmosphere. We had a lovely meal, although I think it was a bit expensive, we just had a main course, chips, salad and a couple of drinks each, it was 4,700 pesos. If you are booking on line, make sure you go to the right one, as there are two quite close together.

We discovered this fabulous restaurant while walking from Miraflores to our we discovered this fabulous restaurant while walking from Miraflores to Barranco. We were starving and it simply looked appealing. We had a delicious meal was excellent service. I had a salmon salad that my husband had steak, both of which were great. The service was impeccable, the staff going out of their way to make us comfortable.

English menu is available, you have to ask for it. Different steaks are available, the most expensive are from the USA. I ordered some filet, cooked medium, as well as an empanada and a chorizo sausage.Flavour on the sausage was very nice, empanada was well-cooked and seasoned. Steak was cooked to the right temperature but flavourless, left something to be desired there. Perhaps some more salt, or maybe a garnish or sauce to go along with it.Two small pieces of bread were served to the table alongside four small sauce dishes, and the sauces included a spicy salsa as well as a bell pepper reduction. I was disappointed to see a 5 PEN charge on my bill at the end (1.50 USD). Not a big deal in terms of the amount, but I wish that these items were not charged without me having ordered them first. If something is served to the table without me asking, it better be complimentary.Service was very lacking towards the end of my meal. Took 20 minutes for them to clear my dishes away and another 10 minutes for me to get a hold of someone to remind them that I had ordered a dessert. The suspiro dessert was also not the best, I would get dessert somewhere else.Good experience overall, probably would come back if I was hungry again for steak.

We could smell seared beef before we went inside. We (four) all ordered different dishes from the menu. I ordered tenderloin brochettes which came a perfect medium rare and were tender and delicious. This was my best steak experience in Lima. Some reviewers have complained about a lack of choices on the menu which I found to be quite extensive particularly for beef. This is primarily a steak house after all. My wife ordered a chicken dish which she thought was excellent. The wait staff were helpful and professional.
