This is a lively place with a fun atmosphere. I was really looking forward to the food as it was recommended by 2 local chefs. I think we were there on an off day and wish I lived close so I could try it again. The waiter was pleasant at first but inattentive. He was standing around talking with staff, not overly busy but didn't check us on once, had to flag him down for everything. I would have had another glass of wine, bottle of water, dessert but he never came by. He offered the table next to us the dessert tray but not us. The starter was delicious, stuffed potato with creamy red pepper sauce and onion salad (criolla salad). It was an amazing version of a popular street food item and one of the best things I ate on my 3 week Peru vacation.I love rice and beans so I chose short ribs with rice and beans for my entre. The meat was tender but the brown sauce it was in was really salty. Unfortunately, both the rice and beans were also too salty so I couldn't mix them in to lessen the salty flavor. This was so disappointing to me because it could have been a great dish otherwise. We came early for a drink but be aware, there really isn't a bar area.

Everything was delicious. Started with a small serving of pork belly with carrots and zucchini, on the house snack that was served before we ordered. For starter, we had The Ceviche Nikkei and the Ajillo Oriental, they were so delicious. Their Pisco Sour was amazing!!! The tenderloin steak over baby patatoes and baby corn were so tender and delish. The fried rice with shrimp... everything was just flavorful and satisfying. Little bites of cookies and brownies were served with coffee. I highly recommend this restaurant. A reservation is recommended, being that the location is not someone you will easily stumble into. The ambiance is just as amazing as the food.

From start to finish, Central is a first-class experience. You enter through the restaurant's garden, where many of the ingredients are grown. The design of the restaurant is airy, light and modern. The service is impeccable. Each dish is an artistic expression: from razor clams to piranha (yes, you do eat them and they're delicious), each course is paired with a special wine that compliments the course. We went for lunch and we would recommend that as you can linger and take your time - but don't plan on having dinner afterwards.

Nondescript street, no sign identifying a restaurant but a fishing boat up on the sidewalk. Serving hours 11 a.m to 5 p.m. Knock on brown door to the left of the boat. Delicious sea food priced from about 30 soles to over 100 soles. Grande Pilsen cervesa 16 soles. Certainly a unique experience.

We drank our way around Barranco and stumbled across this traditional bar by chance. The only thing we tasted were the Pisco Sours and we weren't disappointed! It was not too busy as it is away from the main bar strip.

As part of a freewalking tour with guide Ronnie, we visited restaurant Mirasol. A wonderfull experience. We ordered ceviche with a pisco sour. Really delicious.We recommend this place with a very good price - quality ratio.Thanks for the best food and service we had in Lima restaurant.Karin and Jan

A fantastically well run restaurant with great service and great food. The use of Peruvian and Amazonian eclectic ingredients need not worry anyone and if youâre interested they will really engage on the provenance. But like all great restaurants the kitchen is able to make truly exceptional food with these ingredients, not despite them. Fully recommended.

We could smell seared beef before we went inside. We (four) all ordered different dishes from the menu. I ordered tenderloin brochettes which came a perfect medium rare and were tender and delicious. This was my best steak experience in Lima. Some reviewers have complained about a lack of choices on the menu which I found to be quite extensive particularly for beef. This is primarily a steak house after all. My wife ordered a chicken dish which she thought was excellent. The wait staff were helpful and professional.
